Objective

Essential functions

Be able to read and understand the English language to effectively carry out applied printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials. Have a command of both the written and spoken English language to properly and clearly communicate in person or via electronic devices (telephone and radio) with co-workers and the general public. The ability to maintain a professional, tactful and courteous demeanor under stressful situations security personnel routinely encounter. The newly formed BI Center of Excellence under Verizon Connect will play a pivotal role in helping drive business transformation by creating a single source of truth for business performance and diagnostics to enable faster and frictionless flow of information. We are seeking a talented and motivated candidate to accelerate our efforts to drive trust of our data, democratize insights of that data, and ensure the adoption of a data culture at Verizon Connect.

This position will be within the BI team in Verizon Connect. You will be responsible for creating enhanced reports/visualizations of complex analytics in support of strategic business efforts and will leverage reporting tools (SQL Server, AWS, Redshift, Tableau, SFDC, etc) to gain business insights. You will create reporting and analytics for key stakeholders which will enable them to make quick evaluations of business initiatives.

* Interact directly with our respective Operations teams to team up and assist with complex data requests across various groups (Sales, Product, Marketing, CS, PMO & Finance)
* Collaborate with business units across the enterprise to create a roadmap for the Data Analytics & Reporting teams supporting business needs in alignment with the strategic vision of the company.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

* Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
* Four or more years of relevant work experience.
* Three or more years of data analysis experience.

* Experience in database query languages, particularly various SQL dialects.

What You'll Get to Do:

As a CACI-WGI Intelligence Analyst, you will provide embedded and reach back support to Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and Improvised Threat efforts and operations executed by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), committed war fighting units and partners. You will provide multi-intelligence analysis and fusion that integrates existing national-level products and databases to define patterns of threat and network activity and narrow the search space to conduct CWMD operations. As required, you will interact directly with DTRA Senior Staff and deployed intelligence consumer during the development of intelligence products to meet intelligence requests for information.

More About the Role:

You will work closely with other members of your team to identify trends, capabilities and vulnerabilities of emerging threats. Work within production schedules and coordinate with all parties involved to produce, deliver, and archive finished intelligence briefings to inform the command based on DTRA's critical information requirements. These products will align with directed intelligence production standards, review and edit graphics, including interactive media, assist in the development of visual aids, and ensure proper formatting, verify proper sourcing of products and graphics, track production, document and ensure workflow through the production process. Prepare and deliver the Daily/Weekly Update for DTRA's Director. Provide information and analysis support to DTRA working groups and analytical teams. Conduct continuous research and maintain an awareness of current WMD and improvised threat technology and TTPs used by the state and non-state human enemy networks.

Apply all-source analysis to improve the effectiveness of WMD and improvised threat to global situational awareness operations.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

* Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
* You must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
* You should be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead on product development.
* Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.
* Bachelor's degree and more than three years of experience, or an associate's degree and five years of experience, or seven years of relevant work experience. We will also consider candidates with four years of directly relevant experience.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Experience working at a major command, combatant command, or service-level headquarters
* Understanding of the levels of warfare and the nuances that exist between tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence
* Ability to assess and convey the strategic consequence of tactical or operational events or developments
* Familiarity with key national security documents including the National Security Strategy and National Military Strategy and the National Defense Strategy
* Experience at a service-level Science and Technology (S&T) center or IC agency working emerging technology issues
* Experience with WMD threats, capabilities, and associated security issues
* More than three years of experience conducting network analysis in support of CWMD - including counter-facilitation.
* More than three years of experience providing CWMD intelligence support and/or asymmetric threat analysis.
* More than ten years of military experience, and/or a combination of military and IC Agency experience, including recent combat deployments, and be well-versed in all areas of military intelligence.
* Expert understanding of network analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook and Palantir.
* Expert understanding of Intel-related databases such as M3, NCTC Online, Pulse, Wire, DataXplorer, PROTON SIGINT Database.
* Practical understanding of geospatial Intel tools such as ArcGIS and Google Earth.
* Must be able to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
