The Project Coordinator for Engagement Initiatives-Special Populations serves as a project manager for first-generation initiatives as well as the Memphis Pipeline project. This person is responsible for helping to institutionalize support/retention mechanisms for first-generation identifying students on campus. Specifically, this person is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and managing efforts that inform and engage first-generation identifying students in opportunities and resources to help support their personal, career, and academic success. This includes managing communication efforts to students and campus constituents, coordinating and overseeing workshops and campus-wide programs for first-generation students and/or their families, managing Rutgers-Camden first-generation celebration week, updating/maintaining RU-C's first-generation web and social media pages, and collaborating with campus partners to continue to create a campus culture of inclusivity.

The Warehouse Special Projects Coordinator performs a variety of duties to manage the flow of reverse logistics materials including, but not limited to, inbound processing, product inspection, and product disposition.
Shift starts at 8 am Monday to Friday

Job Duties
- Responsible for researching, writing, compiling, and managing the timeline of all grants, including maintenance and oversight of workflow processes and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient collection and timely submission.
- Write grant applications and all reports and conduct prospect research on new opportunities aligned with ADAPT Community Network's mission. Grant writing will be to private foundations and government opportunities.
- Work with all departments to collect and synthesize data. Oversees grant workflow processes related to data entry to ensure adequate internal controls and that all grant data reporting is accurate.
- Provide links between program, finance, and other staff so that all activities related to grant data collection and reporting are smoothly implemented.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and foundations' requirements for grants.
- Respond to requests for special reports, collaterals, and non-grant materials with a strategic perspective.
- Provide general support to the development department during peak periods. Assist in the preparation of materials for meetings.
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of previous experience as a grant writer in a social service organization or another complex nonprofit with multiple constituencies and programs.
- Excellent writing ability that is clear, concise, and analytic in style.
- Ability to write for various audiences, including foundations, donors, and broader general constituencies
