Description & Details Assist research scientist in all aspects of research including but are not limited to variety evaluation trials, cropping systems studies, crop, soil, water, nutrient and pest management experiments. This includes planning and planting, irrigation scheduling, plot maintenance, weed control, sample collection, processing and laboratory analysis, data collection and processing, and repair and maintenance of field equipment. Support project leader in disseminating research results by participating in field days, tours, preparing reports and creating presentations. Work conditions include chemical applications and a seasonal outdoor working environment. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
