Summary: This position independently performs requested ultrasound examinations, searching for any possible pathology as indicated by the patient's symptoms/medical history and/or results from previous testing. The position reviews and discusses the ultrasound findings with the radiologist and a diagnosis is made. Responsibilities And Duties: 60% Performs various ultrasound examinations. Subjectively interprets information based on judgmental decisions by Ultrasonographers, requiring in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and pathology. Maintains complete knowledge of wave form physics, i.e., , time gain compensation curves, attenuation factors, etc. , required to set equipment variable properly for appropriate imaging of specific anatomy. Assists Radiologists with performance of invasive procedures. 10% Independently evaluates normal vs. abnormal test results in correlation with patient history, previous examinations, lab results, etc. 10% Independently gives preliminary ultrasound results to attending physicians, surgeons, residents, etc. regarding any vascular ultrasound procedures as determined by site accreditation. 10% Teaches/educates imaging students, medical students and residents in basic scanning methods and instrumentation of ultrasound. 10% Maintains equipment and stocks supplies. Performs quality control procedures and maintains documentation. Summary: Supports the curriculum development and maintenance lifecycle for assigned applications including participation in workflow evaluation, development of new curriculum and related documentation (e.g., tip sheets, quick start guides, knowledge articles). Collaborate with user departments to identify, analyze, and support ongoing needs while achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs) relative to the supported curriculum. Responsibilities And Duties: System Analysis and Design: Analyze and document current business processes and workflows. Identify system requirements and translate them into detailed specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for system upgrades and patches. Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to integrate across IT portfolio with other IT systems (e.g., Epic, 3rd Party Imaging Applications, AI, etc.). Project Management: Under the direction of the Sr. Systems Analyst strong participation smaller projects related to system implementations and upgrades. Knowledge with various project management approaches, e.g. waterfall, agile. Training and Documentation: Contribute to comprehensive documentation for system configurations and processes. Assist and provide guidance on best practices. Integration and Data Management: Contribute to seamless integration between various healthcare applications. Manage data integrity and security across systems. Perform data analysis and generate reports as needed. OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is hiring a full-time registered Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology department. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. This is a large and busy Radiation Oncology department located in two locations within the hospital and requires a therapist to be on call for add on or urgent cases. Call is rotated on a weekly basis among the 11 therapists. The department consists of three Linear Accelerators and two CTs. They also provide High Dose Rate Brachytherapy in the department. Delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Prepares patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters. Summary: The Lead Radiation Therapist is the supervisor over the Radiation Therapy team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Radiation Oncology. They are responsible for maintaining adequate staff levels and making sure all the LINAC machines are well staffed. They maintain and prepare the daily schedule and the call schedule for our team. Summary: Cath Lab Specific: The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique. Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific: The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound. Summary: OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is hiring for a casual/PRN registered Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology department. Our hours of operations are from 8am-4:3pm Monday through Friday and will reach out to the therapist as needed to fill open position due to time off, sickness, leave of absence, etc The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. They prepare patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters. Responsibilities And Duties: 35% Administers Radiation Therapy treatments on a daily basis. 20% Maintains daily record of treatment, inclusive of daily dosages and calculations and other necessary treatment records. 5% Performs simulations, acquires treatment parameters, patient contours and dose calculations. 10% Therapists who are scheduled to work 80 hours per pay, may be required to be on-call for weekends and holidays on a rotating basis. 10% Maintains patient schedules for In-Patients and Out-Patients communicates frequently with families and hospital personnel to maintain schedule coordination and accommodate patients as best as possible. 10% Monitors patient Condition and progress on a daily basis. i.e., patient weighs, skin care, reaction, etc. . 5% Assists Radiation Oncologist in performance of Brachytherapy procedures.
