Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Serve as a liaison between Spectrum Brands and vendors to resolve and process difficult invoice and payment issues. * Perform trend analysis regarding past due invoices, vendor responsiveness and interaction with other departments. * Analyze invoices to determine gaps and concerns within Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR). Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sourcing to resolve open GR/IR item discrepancies and improve processes to prevent future GR/IR concerns. * Research and reply to vendor inquires and support internal business partners as needed. * Perform accounts payable liability research, and resolution. * Research root cause for invoices not flowing into our workflows appropriately. * Ensure appropriate approvals are received for AP processes such as invoice postings or vendor maintenance. * Make independent decisions and own completion of activities to research and review outstanding payments which have been returned to determine cause. * Perform audits to support Audit Board controls. * Maintain or exceed AP team goals. * Assist with close activities. * Other duties and projects assigned. Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Analyze workplace processes, equipment, and environments to identify potential hazards and assess associated risks, with an emphasis on ergonomics * Develop and implement safety procedures, policies, and standards to prevent accidents and injuries, including Process Safety Management/Risk Management Programs * Create and deliver technical training programs to employees and management on safety procedures, emergency protocols, and regulatory compliance, including Lockout/Tagout programs * Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices * Identify potential hazards associated with job functions and equipment, then present and implement corrective actions * Participate in accident and incident investigations to determine root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence * Stay informed of changes to OSHA and EPA regulations impacting the facility * Present solutions for maintaining or achieving compliance with regulatory requirements * Contribute to the design and selection of safe equipment and systems, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) * Evaluate new equipment for safety requirements, such as machine guarding and interlocks * Communicate safety information effectively to all levels of the organization * Collaborate with plant engineers, maintenance, and technical specialists on safety initiatives * Maintain records as required by policy, practice, and procedures * Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Profile * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering * Experience with Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, workstation design a must * Experience with PSM/RMP programs preferred * Minimum 2-5 years experience in an industrial setting * Firm understanding of OSHA General Industry standards. Familiarity with EPA standards a plus * Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques (5-why, Fishbone, FMEA) highly desired. Job Summary This role leads and manages new product development (NPD) projects and product changes from conception to launch. The individual will facilitate cross-functional collaboration, plan and execute stage-gate processes, and drive continuous improvement within the NPD framework. Success in this role requires strong communication, project management, and leadership skills, along with the ability to manage multiple initiatives. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Project Management - 35% * Identify, plan, and coordinate cross functional team activities required to launch new and changing products. * Assist Senior Manager Project Management on Project Management Office improvements. * Create and manage project timelines for cross-functional teams and hold team members accountable for meeting deadlines. * Identify and call out project's critical path and key milestone dates. * Serve as liaison between Marketing, Graphics, R&D, Regulatory, Packaging, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Contract Manufacturing departments. * Develop and execute project management methodologies to determine and track constraints for multiple, concurrent plans. * Communicate risk and project information to stakeholders. * Identify delays and challenge cross functional teams for resolution. Manage Stage Gate new product development process and meetings - 25% * Facilitating new product development meetings - challenging development teams to identify and create resolution to roadblocks or delays. * Preparing reports, leading discussions, and publishing action items for offline project meetings. * Provide guidance and expertise with regards to guidelines and rules within the stage gate process ensuring all projects adhere to H&G business objectives. * Guide cross-functional team on all change processes. * Produce monthly key performance indicators (KPI) reports as they pertain to the product development process. * Provide input on monthly key project communications to be utilized by all levels of the organization. Manage NPD database with regards to project management - 25% * Utilize task management within the NPD database to monitor project progression. * Entry of project descriptors with emphasis on milestone and key performance indicators. * Maintenance and upkeep to projects considering scope change or process interruption. * Ensure accuracy of task and data management. * Communicate project changes to teams for awareness. Continuous Improvement - 15% * Facilitation of NPD stage gate process improvements based on business needs. * Optimize and broaden data collection to improve KPI's. * Assist the Sr. Project Manager in developing new reporting and process improvement. * Research alternative project management methodologies for speed to market and project efficiencies. * Create and maintain a positive environment for all employees free of intimidation and harassment. * Must always understand and demonstrate safe work practices to ensure a safe work environment. * Comply with all company policies and procedures. Education and Experience Profile * Bachelor's degree in Business or Operations Management or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. * 7- 9 years of Project Management with CPG or Manufacturing experience. * PMI certification a plus * Consumer product goods experience a plus Required Skills * Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. * Strong working knowledge of ideation stage-gate processes and milestone methodologies. * Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar project management software; Workfront experience is a plus. * Experience with automated scheduling tools and database systems. * Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk/benefit and act decisively. * Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels. * Demonstrated success as both a team leader and collaborative team member. * Skilled in effective meeting facilitation and management. * High level of organizational and motivational capabilities. * Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. * Proficient in PC applications including spreadsheets, word processing, and presentations. * Capable of managing multiple product development projects simultaneously. * Able to respectively challenge existing processes and perspectives, facilitating productive conversations with stakeholders at all levels to advance project and portfolio outcomes.
