Charter has an amazing overall compensation package.
Charter doesn't say up with the times in terms of work life balance. They are very resistant to change. An example reluctance to have any kind of remote working policy. It has caused the company to lose in house talent and attract new talent.
Yearly bonus
They provide solid leadership and attempt to keep the company on the cutting edge of technology.
I would improve the culture by implementing some of the things that are mentioned in the employee survey each year. i would have more opportunities for employee to interact outside of the regular work day.
I prepred for interview by reviewing the job description in detail and being able to speak to each bullet point with examples
I believe that the compensation is slightly higher that the industry average
I think the company demographics overall are good. I would say not so much in my particular organization.
I truly enjoyed the specific work that i performed daily and to see my end users happy with the output
Independent work schedule, ability to make my own paycheck based on my effort and success.
Management rarely knows the actual job that their employees do because they are outside hires, unrealistic expectations are placed on the representative to produce despite zero accountability by other departments and no assistance from the management to get fellow leadership colleagues to hold their departments accountable for their work effectiveness and efficiency. Most importantly, people were promoted who cheated and used dishonest sales tactics leading to unreasonable expectations for honest workers and stolen opportunities to advance within the company.
Freedom to act as an independent representative and to setup my day as I saw fit.
Nothing, total garbage, very fake people with no idea how to run a company.
Stop promoting yes men and yes women from outside the company for leadership positions and instead promote successful workers who have done the jobs they oversee for the company.
Didn't need to prepare, went iin and answered honestly and was myself. You can prepare for an interview to overcome lack of experience or education, nor can you prepare in such a way as to overcome personality flaws that are readily apparent to managers.
It was a lot lower because we had no control over the work done in other departments. Had the installation and construction departments done their jobs better, we would've made good pay, but on average it was okay.
There was plenty of diversity, but more importantly they weren't hired for their skin color or ethnicity, but rather because they merited the opportunity.
Helping customers get the services they needed.
I liked working independently with very little micro management. As long as you were doing your job, ie. Making sales, attending meetings etc
Management changed the structure of the metrics of your sales and in turn changed the commission structure. There wasn't a Customer SERVICE dept you could refer unhappy customers too. You had to diffuse the situation. And then speak with your immediate market manager .
I liked the hours. 11am until 7pm or 12 until 8
My co-workers.
Career progression is promised but is non-existent. My skill set and work load has increased, however, my employer will not compensate me for these improvements. Annual raises are capped at 3% so that management can obtain bonuses, there aren't any incentives and no matter how much one accomplishes, it is never enough to achieve higher levels of pay.
Free WiFi and cable.
Great pay, great benefits, committed to diversity and inclusion.
I love it!
Bonuses/options and the realness of the leadership.
Pay, respect from higher management,
Nothing that comes to mind
Car, gas, expense reimb
Benefits
Hierarchy - can't make any decision without executive leadership approval
401K match
Call center environment and talking to customers. The pay is amazing and the career advancement possibilities.
Stress level of management
My boss is the Regional VP for the SoCal/Hawaii region. He is the best boss I've ever had, very intelligent, fair, and appreciative of the work I do for him.
I need to relocate from California
PTO
great benefits and chances to advance
usually shorthanded so a lot of techs end up needing help
the managers are great and have always helped anyway they can
The benefits, hours, team friendly environment
The ever changing environment
healthcare and free cable
My boss, working on my own. Benifits.
No room for advancement. Micro managing.
Vacation time
No micromanagement. Amazing manager. Great team I am on.
Outbound sales
Time off
New facility
Very heavy on upper management, no sense of direction
Coworkers are friendly
medical, dental, vision, 401k, free cable/internet/home phone
exceptionally poor management, ineffective training and coaching, not "employee friendly"
medical benefits
Ability to apply account management skills
Inconsistent Leadership
Ability to interact with other who use services
I liked the idea of being able to transform marketing, but it was not at all supported by upper management. I was given all the responsibility but none of the enablement to make it happen.
Poor leadership who micromanage all others. Weak HR.
Free cable is really all they have that is a perk. All other benefits are similar or worse than standard.
I have an income
Backstabbing, gossipy employees, cliques, micromanaging leadership, abusive customers, back-to-back repetitive customer calls, pay which doesn't match amount and depth of work
Free cable service
The coworkers that I worked with. They made the job somewhere you wanted to work. This is a company where once you are there you are there a long time. That is due to the coworkers and no other reason.
That management is very clicky. They are friends and can be very loud and unprofessional at times. The salary is not good. The amount of work for the pay.
The discount on the cable service was the best benefit.
Great pay, incentives and insurance options offered
The distance from my home. Otherwise, I couldn't complain.
The vacation, PTO and sick time they offer.
