Job Summary
The BehaviorTechnician (BT) plays a vital role in creating a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment where students can learn and thrive. You'll collect data using provided clinical software.
You'll work closely with the BCBA to ensure treatment plans are implemented as developed.
You'll report to the BCBA if the client is not achieving the goals and objectives set forth in the treatment plan so that the BCBA can modify the plan as needed.
You'll communicate effectively with parents, supervisors, and other related staff.
You'll assist BCBA with conducting certain types of assessments

What your day at AGES as a BehaviorTechnician will look like:
Implementation of Behavior Plans: Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA or licensed professional to address challenging behaviors effectively. Teach various skills such as communication, social, adaptive, and independent living skills based on individualized treatment plans.
Direct Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to provide one-on-one therapy sessions aimed at teaching and reinforcing targeted skills, behaviors, and strategies. Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and others involved.
Data Collection and Behavior Analysis: Accurately record and track behavioral data during sessions to analyze progress, identify trends, and adjust intervention strategies as necessary, in order to understand the root causes of behavior and inform treatment plans.
Collaborative Support: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including BCBA, therapists, educators, and caregivers, to ensure consistent and effective implementation of behavior support plans across different environments.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices, new interventions, and regulations within the field.

Job Title: Full-Time Floating BehavioralTechnician
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
We are seeking Full-Time BehavioralTechnicians (BTs) to join our team at the SJ Clinic under a flexible floating model. In this role, you will:
Provide services to clients in the clinic and/or at their homes, adapting to morning or afternoon cancellations.
Have guaranteed evening sessions, either in the clinic or at clients' homes.
Be scheduled for 40 hours per week, with guaranteed pay even if morning sessions are not scheduled.
Receive training and support to achieve RBT certification if not already certified.
Transition from a floating BT to a Full-Time BT as new clients are onboarded.
