Pros of working at Spectrum for Living

This place is so wrong. They up their wages to $20.34 for the new starting rate. Now my problem is that the people who filled out the surveys for higher pay rate can't get their raise until their evaluation. Now how is it fear that the new workers are getting paid more an hour than the people already working here. I was told that the rule was put into place in January 2025. But when the survey came out it seemed everyone would get a raise across the board now its something different. I feel they don't have any respect for the staff that already works there. It''s sad that someone could come in and make more money than the people who have been holding this place together. This is like a slap in the face. They need to give everyone the new rate across the board. Why wait until someone's evaluation date some people will be waiting almost a year to get the .59 cent raise. They need to be ashamed of themselves. Times are hard for everyone and we need our .59 cent raise.

How would you improve Spectrum for Living's culture?

Give everyone the .59 cent pay raise because the cost of living is high. And I and others were depending on this raise but I don't qualify for the raise until evaluation. This place sucks for that. Maybe I should quit and come back to get the raise this is ashame its like we are begging for some change. It's people who have been here longer than me and they are making $19.75 not the new rate $20.34. This company doesn't care about their staff members just come and work and keep your mouth closed. So the people coming in will be making more than the people who has been working for years here. SHAME ON YOU give these people the new pay rate that's only right.

How does your compensation at Spectrum for Living compare to the industry average?

Low pay rate they raised it and only gave the pay raise to the new people coming in and the ones who are due for their 12 month evaluation. Everyone else has to wait for their evaluation date that is not to fare we did the survey and said the pay rate was low. Now the only people benefiting from the raise is the new people starting to work or have an evaluation soon.
