Opportunities are in construction management strategies, automotive engineering strategies, and information systems strategies and projects that maintain hardware and software systems and support data-intensive applications for UPS. This could consist of new or currently deployed automation and robotics initiatives across the UPS network, reporting on process improvement initiatives, or monitoring existing UPS maintenance process improvement initiatives. The candidate will demonstrate excellent project management, time management, and people skills. The candidate will work with multiple levels of UPS employees and vendors to complete all assigned projects. Positions are available in multiple locations*

Qualifications:
* Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program, or recent graduate within the last 24 months earning a Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* Excellent written and oral communications, and people skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* Basic MySQL skills (preferred)
* Basic Power BI skills (preferred)
* Basic AutoCAD software skills
* Must be available to work 40 hours per week
* Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required

Job Summary
The Trailer Service Technician will service and maintain our fleet trailers that are operated on a daily basis.
Hours and Wages
* Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
* 10-15 hours of overtime expected each week
* Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week
* $20.00-$33.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
* Ability to inspect trailers for compliance
* Ability to service ABS brakes
* Knowledge of drum and disc brake systems is preferred
* Knowledge of trailer wiring, lighting, greasing, brakes, and lift gate is preferred
* General maintenance on fleet trailers
* Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
* Welding and torch experience is a plus but not required
* Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or be willing to learn
Education and Experience
* At least 18 years of age
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* 2 years technical instruction in diesel or auto mechanics is preferred
* Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license OR be willing to successfully complete Company paid CDL training program
Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
* Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
* Must be able to spend a minimum of eight hours on feet
* Work environment involves ability to bend, kneel, crouch, walk, and drive
* Work environment may involve hazards such as diesel exhaust, brake dust, grease, antifreeze, and other elements associated with vehicle repair
