Job Summary
The Lead Route Driver is responsible for leading a group of Route Drivers in their day-to-day duties.
Hours and Wages
Monday- Friday, 7:30AM - completion of route
5 -15 hours of overtime may be required each week
May be required to cover variable shifts based on business needs
Voluntary OT on weekends (as needed)
Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week
Starting wage: $21.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Complete routes for employees who are absent
Assist drivers with daily morning duties such as sorting freight, loading trucks and other duties as needed
Assist with the initial training period of new drivers
Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers
Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle
Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages
Collect payments for certain packages delivered
Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers
Notify management of any problems or discrepancies
Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle
Participate in weekly meetings and communicate goals and assignments
Travel may be required
Perform other required duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
Ability to operate a manual transmission, or have the willingness to learn
Must possess good customer service and organizational skills
Must have leadership skills and the ability to make quick decisions
Education and Experience
At least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards
Physical Requirements
Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
Ability to bend, lift, twist, climb stairs, while moving freight on and off company vehicle
Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 100 pounds
Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals

Job Description
The Program Manager, Route Planner is responsible for planning up to 1500 routes a week. The routes are optimized paths for Brink's messengers to deliver cash and/or other valuables to customers around the country based on their specific service contracts. This role will report to the Planning & Scheduling Leader - it is based in Coppell, TX. Job Duties
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
Industry related training is preferred
Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
