Qualifications (Required for Submission)
Arizona Department of Education Speech-LanguagePathologist Certification
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) SLP License (or eligibility for CFY licensure)
Ability to assess student needs, develop and implement IEPs, and evaluate outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations and interpret results for parents and staff
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for eligible students
Participate in school meetings, conferences, and multidisciplinary evaluation teams (MET)
Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents
Serve as case manager for assigned special education students
Maintain speech-language files, documentation, and Medicaid records
Register as a Medicaid provider and ensure compliance
Participate in professional development, in-services, and monthly SLP meetings
Validate outside evaluations and recommendations
Perform additional duties as assigned, including meetings beyond standard hours when required

Compensation:
This is a W2 employment opportunity. The exact compensation band is based on where the provider resides. Compensation for providers living in CA, HI, and NY is $44-$54 an hour; AK, CO, CT, DC, DE, IL, IN, MA, MD, NJ, NM, OH, PA, RI, TX, VA, and WA is $44-$54 an hour; AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, KS, KY, MI, MN, MT, NC, NH, NV, OK, OR, SC, UT, WI, and WY is $44-$49 an hour; AL, ID, LA, ME, MO, MS, ND, NE, SD, TN, VT, and WV is $44-$47 an hour. As a SpeechLanguagePathologist you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders while integrating company values into daily practice.
This position will work PRN Day shifts as needed.
Essential job functions include but are not limited to:
Responsible for administration and direct application of SpeechLanguage Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician performing patient assessments, establishing plan of care, and preparing discharge plans.
Assesses educational and cultural needs of the patient, family, caregiver, or significant other and communicate accordingly to promote maximum benefit of care.
Coordinates with interdisciplinary team on patient needs, dietary requirements, treatment modifications, and progress.
Completes patient documentation in a thorough, timely, and efficient manner.
Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards.
Requirements for consideration:
While we are open to recent graduates, two (2) years of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.
Current state licensure in SpeechLanguage Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year status or equivalent preferred.
Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
