Position SummaryThe Speech-LanguagePathologist (SLP) works with elementary school students in screening, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating disorders of speech and language communication. Document and collect data on all consultation sessions and provide regular assessments.
Conduct student screenings and/or assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, articulation, or alternative/augmentative communication (AAC).
Develop and implement high quality, legally compliant IEPs.
Maintain student files and treatment logs in an organized manner to include as well as provide appropriate documentation to the interdisciplinary team.
Communicate with the program manager with regards to any changes in status, problems, or intent to change any aspect of the education program.
Attend and participate in meetings as required by the (team, staff, and IEP meetings).
Develop instructional materials and evaluate commercially available material for treatment.
Keep current on the latest development in the field of speech therapy by attending professional seminars, reading current literature and participating in professional organizations as assigned.
Provide professional development support to school staff and families.
Manage time efficiently, follow schedule and inform appropriate personnel of departures from schedule.

This is what we need:
Master's Degree (or Doctorate) in Speech-Language Pathology
Unrestricted state license in the state where services are being performed.
CCC-SLP required.
Experience collaborating with other disciplines and willingness to continually coordinator care with all other disciplines for each child on caseload.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
