This position will have a primary role of serving young children, ages birth to three, qualifying for early intervention services in the state of Mississippi. Children may present with complex communication needs. This role may involve assisting with early intervention assessments for infants and toddlers who present with developmental delays. This position will require intimate work with a multidisciplinary team to maximize the outcomes of children (and their families) receiving services. Trainings may be required in evidence-based practice. Those with experience may also assist with AAC evaluations for the TKMC. This position will require travel within the state of Mississippi. If not already in possession, it will be encouraged in the duration of the first year of employment to receive the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
