QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications for School Speech Language Pathologist:
· 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as School Speech Language Pathologist within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)

Speech Language Pathologist - CF Essential Responsibilities:
Identifies different communication styles to develop effective communication with staff, parents, teachers, and community partners
Provides treatment appropriate to the needs of child and their families
Tracks upcoming reports due based on the funder
Acts as a liaison between the funder (school team, family, etc.) and the leadership team to pro-actively identify areas of concerns and maintain strong relationships with the community

Job Duties:
Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations for varying populations and disorders utilizing a dynamic approach consisting of informal and formal measures in alignment with industry and practice guidelines
Execute individual treatment plans for clients using evidence-based practice.
Supervise up to two (2) Speech Language Pathology Assistants and up to one (1) SLP-CF's in compliance with current CA Board standards
Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of treatment, progression towards goals, projected discharge dates
Complete all necessary documentation using the Company's electronic record system within the expected timeframe
Educate and train families about various speech and language techniques and strategies
Meet minimum utilization goals / other business objectives as required
Collaborate with peers in other disciplines within Ensemble Therapy for clients who are seen for multiple services
Champion the Company's culture and live the Company's core values while being an ambassador for Easy Speech

Minimum Requirements:
Must possess a master's degree from an accredited speech language pathology program
Current and unrestricted licensure (by the CA Board of Speech Language Pathology, Audiology, and Hearing Aid Dispensers) to work in the state of California
If you are in the process of relocating to California and your licensure in the state of CA is in process this is OK as well.
Must possess Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) from American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Current knowledge of treatment practices and a drive to continually learn about and explore new treatment practices that may benefit our clients
Experience with working with adults and pediatrics with a variety of disorders and deficits including but not limited to language, articulation, voice, fluency, swallowing, and Autism Spectrum Disorder
Must be willing to complete speech evaluations and treatments both in-person and via telehealth (if clinically appropriate)
Must have a strong desire to work with a wide array of patients (age, race, ethnicity, etc)

Responsibilities
Therapeutic Services
Deliver individualized and small-group speech and language therapy to students with IEPs across K–8.
Address a broad range of communication areas including:
Receptive and expressive language
Articulation and phonological processing
Fluency and voice
Social-pragmatic language and conversational skills
Design and implement Social Club programming for Autistic students using Social Thinking® methodologies.
Assessment and Documentation
Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify communication disorders.
Develop, write, and update IEP goals and present levels of performance in collaboration with the IEP team.
Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records including session notes, progress reports, and compliance documentation.
Ensure therapy and documentation adhere to IDEA regulations and school policies.
Collaboration and Consultation
Provide support to general education and special education staff with classroom strategies and interventions for at-risk or struggling students.
Participate actively in student support meetings, IEP meetings, and family consultations.
Work closely with school leaders, teachers, and other specialists to ensure holistic support for students.
Professional Development & Growth
Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings and regular supervision with an experienced SLP team manager.
Participate in ongoing school-wide professional development sessions.
Engage with outside experts and Social Thinking® consultants through monthly supervision and collaboration.
Take advantage of $250 CEU reimbursement and opportunities to supervise graduate-level SLP students.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply – high-quality supervision provided
Experience supporting school-aged students with disabilities, especially Autistic learners
Familiarity with Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking® curriculum
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Bilingual proficiency (strongly preferred)
Salary: 78K-115K +
