Required Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of dedicated construction cost estimating experience or combined estimating and project management experience. Duties/Responsibilities· Regularly arrive at work prior to scheduled start time of the construction department.· Always adhere to company policies and procedures.· Must be available to direct reports and all other team members in the field and in the office; daily communication of schedule must be clearly documented.· Work directly with the President, Estimator and Construction Managers on all projects.· Review project proposal planning timelines, funding limits and limitations, procedures for accomplishing a project, staffing requirements, and various resources pertaining to the phases of a project.· Plans accordingly for staffing requirements and plan, if necessary, to recruit and retain individuals.· Coordinates with project staff to outline a work plan, assign duties, and responsibilities. · Directs and coordinates activities of the project team to ensure project progress and timely schedule within proposed budget.· Reviews status reports.· Prepares project reports for management, clients, and other individuals related to the project. · Regularly meet with the project team, including but not limited to other Action Air employees, and General Contracting team members to provide advice, and address issues as they arise.· Coordinates project activities for government regulatory purposes and other government agencies.· Responsible for the overall direction and coordination of Sheet Metal, Plumbing, and Piping Departments while on job sites.· Use of Math to determine material requirements, and to figure out manpower needs at all times during the construction and or installation process. · Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
