Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform a variety of custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Vacuum carpets and clean upholstered furniture, draperies, blinds, and other surfaces. Wash interior and exterior windows, glass doors, stair rails, and other fixtures. Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, drinking fountains, and other public-use areas. Maintain breakrooms, classrooms, and meeting spaces, including cleaning appliances, counters, and tables. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with College procedures. Set up and dismantle tables, chairs, and equipment for classes, meetings, and special events. Provides a clean, healthful and safe environment throughout the campus. Duties include cleaning campus buildings, residence halls, shampooing carpets, stripping/refinishing hard floors.
