THE WORK
The Multi-Domain Combat System (MDCS) Market Segment of the Rotary and Mission Systems Mission Integrated Command and Control (MIC2) line of business is looking for an experienced prime Contracts Manager to join our energetic and diverse leadership team. This Contracts leadership role interfaces regularly with senior executives and customers and will lead, develop, and direct a team of 5-10 personnel.

* Regularly exercise independent initiative and actions to deliver strategic goals on behalf of the company, line of business, market segment, and sub segment.

Basic Qualifications:
* Experience negotiating, managing, and closing out US Government contracts.
* Demonstrated knowledge of FAR and DFARS contracting terms.
* 5+ years of professional experience reviewing terms and conditions and performing contract risk analysis.
* You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

THE WORK
Our Global Sustainment (GS) Team at our Ventura facility within Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking an experienced professional for a Project Engineer-Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul Associate Manager position to lead a team of technicians and provide technical expertise in support of the MK 41 Logistics Support program. The successful candidate will serve as a direct interface between program/customer/contract requirements and the onsite technician force.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of technicians in the performance of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on VLS depot level repairable (DLR) items, including cables, internal power supplies, circuit card assemblies, and other electronic LRUs.
* Provide technical guidance and oversight to technicians on complex repair and test activities, including functional and environmental testing, vibration testing, and special test equipment operations.
* Respond to LM and USN inquiries and investigate, analyze, and provide counsel on matters relating to past, current, and proposed repair of VLS system, subsystems, and components.
* Support estimates of effort to complete requested repairs, testing, and shipment of VLS and associated support equipment to US locations and foreign countries.
* Provide inputs to identify candidate items for repair or test based on projected obsolescence, regular maintenance schedules, ship ORDALT schedules, and new ship construction schedules.
* Assist in the development and implementation of MRO technology plans, common processes, and applications.
* Collaborate with senior level Customers, Line of Business Program Managers, and other RMS functional support organizations, including Tech Ops, Operations, Contracts, Subcontracts, Business Development, and Finance.
