Support student-athletes' academic and personal growth. Manage program logistics including equipment, scheduling, and communication. Prepare areas used for practice and game use. Accompany and supervise students Advise students and parents on the athletic code of conduct, including consequences for violation, and coordinate with the Activities Director in instances of possible violations of the code of conduct. Maintain inventory of uniforms and equipment within the program. Minimum Qualifications: Valid coaching license through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of the season. Previous experience as a coach, preferred. Strong knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, instruct, and supervise students athletes and a coaching staff. Ability to work under pressure. Proficient in organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
