Nursing, Commercial Truck Driver Training, Respiratory Therapy and Electronic Design are some of the career and technical fields in which one may earn a degree at Spoon River College. Art, Chemistry, Education, English and General Studies are some of the areas in which students get degrees before transferring to a four-year university. Programs for those over 50 as well as for youth still in high school are offered at Spoon River College, allowing for students of all ages to get a quality education. Making the transition to college as easy as possible Spoon River offers highly flexible scheduling. In addition to classes offered at different times, Spoon River has online, hybrid and interactive video courses. Also, if a course is not offered at Spoon River, one may take it at a partner institution that does offer that course. Finally, Spoon River's student services help both with the transition to college and with all challenges students may face along the way. Spoon River also offers extensive opportunities for transfer students. Since Spoon River has transfer agreements with over 100 universities and colleges throughout the state of Illinois, students have a variety of choices should they decide to transfer.
