This role requires experience with structural carbon steel welding in outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, precision, and efficiency while adhering to all site\-specific protocols. Key Responsibilities: ● Perform structural welds on carbon steel piles as part of the remediation process. ● Weld on hot dip galvanized material using approved methods to ensure structural integrity. ● Ensure all welding is performed in compliance with AWS D1.1 standards. ● Prepare and maintain work areas, including setting up welding blankets to protect nearby solar panels from spatter damage. ● Use a welding hood during active welding; wear a hard hat at all other times per site safety requirements. ● Follow all site safety policies, including the use of PPE and situational awareness around energized equipment and solar infrastructure. ● Collaborate with site leads and mechanical crews to execute work efficiently and accurately.
