Chris Stevens is a Chief Marketing Officer at SpotHero. He has worked as General Manager:Getaways at GROUPON, INC..

Beth Hayden is the Chief People Officer at SpotHero. She joined SpotHero in December of 2020.

Most recently, Beth served as the Chief People Officer at Q-Centrix for a year. Previously, she held HR roles at JLL, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and Trizec Properties.

Eric Brooke is the Chief Technology Officer at SpotHero. In this role, Eric combines his innate curiosity, love of problem-solving, and aptitude in empathetic leadership to oversee a team of 50 engineers as they execute on the technical vision of SpotHero’s industry-leading platform.

With 15 years of leadership experience across the software engineering field - including 8 years at the executive level, Eric has a demonstrated ability to bring the best out of those he leads. He’s led 31 teams throughout his career, at times through complex and stressful situations, such as a merger of six different organizations, a major organizational restructure, and 18-hour days in the thick of election season.

In addition to his visionary leadership, Eric brings deep technical expertise to the role, with experience working on production code for 15 apps, implementing IT infrastructure in 5 organizations, and introducing new software engineering processes in multiple organizations. His passion for technology goes back to his childhood, where he accompanied his father as he repaired mainframes.

Eric took this passion to university and earned a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. He’s also completed a number of postgraduate courses at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and The Open University.

When he’s not leading teams and solving problems, Eric spends his time building new applications, reading the newest science and tech publications, utilizing his Second City-trained improv skills, cooking up unique culinary creations, and hiking the great outdoors.
