Starting pay at $18.01 per hour with rapid pay increases.
1st Shift - 6:00 am to 4:30 pm - 10-hour production days Monday through Thursday
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Flatline Sprayer to join our production team. This position is responsible for spraying parts in the Flatline/Glazeline area, maintaining quality and efficiency standards, and ensuring proper upkeep of spray equipment. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Job Description:
Spraying paint or stain on cabinet parts with a hand spray gun involves applying coatings to wood or wood-based components to achieve a smooth, consistent and high-quality finish. Using a hand-held spray gun, the operator evenly distributes paint, stain or topcoat materials onto component parts according to production specifications and color standards.
Sprayers are required to wear supplied -air respirator (Allegro hood) used to protect from inhaling fumes, dust, overspray or vapors or half mask respirator which is a tight-fitting protective mask that covers nose and mouth.
Key Responsibilities:
Spray parts accurately and consistently in the Flatline/Glazeline area.
Rotate through all spraying positions as required.
Perform repairs and routine preventive maintenance on spray guns, booths and bulk tank areas
Change filters and maintain passing color qualifications on all established colors.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain equipment certifications.
Qualifications:
Allegro hood and/or half mask certification (must be clean shaven to wear a half mask) which is completed internally.
Abilit to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. and push/pull 5-20 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Previous experience in spray finishing, coating or related manufacturing environment preferred.
