The primary responsibility of this position is to provide spread work for Gerber Cutting.
Key Responsibilities:Match fabric and cut sheet to ensure correct fabric is being used.Load spreading equipment with fabric.Build spreads for cutting by operating spreading equipment, maintaining quality standards of edges.Pulls spread work down the table for cutting machine.Measures fabric and checks spread for fabric defects, counts ply height and checks fabric against cut tickets.Completes paper work listing; yardage, number of rolls used, dye lot and roll information.Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
