EHS Manager (Environmental, Health, and Safety manager) The EHS Manager makes sure the plant is a safe place to work and follows all environmental and safety laws. This person creates and runs safety and environmental programs, trains employees, and helps prevent accidents and injuries. They also make sure the facility meets all government safety and environmental requirements. Main Job Duties:Health & Safety: Create and maintain safety policies that meet OSHA and company standards. Check the plant regularly for safety risks and fix any problems. Investigate accidents or near-misses and find ways to prevent them in the future. Handle employee injury reports and workers' comp claims. Lead safety training for new hires and current employees. Make sure programs like Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and forklift safety are followed.
