Cons of working at Spring Isd

Too political, many employees getting preferential treatment because of who they are not because what they do. Cannot receive something as simple as paper towels for our Special Ed students who need to have them available to dry their hands! Special Education students need to wash their hands more often!

Pros of working at Spring Isd

I like the school I work at. The staff and administrators are passionate and dedicated.

Cons of working at Spring Isd

I don’t like SpringISD. We have faculty meeting after school on Mondays starting 4:00. We have PLC every Wednesday. There’s no comp time for Open House or Meet the Teachers. Health Benefits for insurance is extremely expensive. It’s the triple the amount I paid when I was with HoustonISD. The training is ineffective and a waste of time. How can teachers have time to prepare and be effective when they have extra work, duty, and all kinds of meeting after school hours. We’ll be burned out soon.
