Introduction
Fifth Third's Enterprise Workplace Services (EWS) & Security team consists of the Corporate Real Estate group responsible for designing, building, brokering, managing and securing our over 1500 properties and other physical assets located throughout the US, as well as the network of people and systems that keep our employees and customers safe every day. What You'll Do
Your days will be filled with fast-paced on-the-job training and development as a vital part of the team. Most of your daily tasks will support our Design programs and consist of partnering with Design Leads and internal stakeholders to develop and execute design projects and processes leveraging our well-developed design guidelines. In meetings, you won't be expected to be seen and not heard; your ideas will be vital to the company's strategies going forward. You'll meet with senior leaders, soaking in their experience and insights, while developing your own skills based on their guidance. This isn't an “internship” where you'll be making copies and fetching coffee for employees. You'll be serving as a Corporate Real Estate partner to our business, and a valued part of the team, gaining meaningful experience and getting first-hand insights.

From a design perspective, we are focused on creating a great human experience through place. It is intended as a potential multi-year program where previous participants can be invited back for a second rotation to gain further exposure and refine their skills in this unique function of our business.
Job Duties
Shadow and partner with Design Leads to understand needs for retail and office locations Work with architectural teams to provide input on design Work with cross functional team to help define customer experience and the future of retail design Support Design Leads in developing design components: look and feel, visual standards, design guidelines, architectural product standards, design review guidelines, furniture standards Assist in documenting various design related initiatives Assist in design research initiatives as needed Coordinating with all internal stakeholders to accomplish goals and objectives Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills
Enrollment in degree program for Interior Design, Interior Architecture or other related discipline, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Relevant internships and co-op program experience Strong design sensibilities, seeing space as the context for a holistic human experience; sketching skills preferred Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to multitask and be flexible Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to demonstrate initiative, proactively seeking clarity as needed Detail-oriented
