The Ultrasound Technologist 2 is responsible for performing sonographic procedures by the application of ultrasound to produce images under a variety of conditions and assisting physicians as required in the selection of practical applications and technical factors. Job Relationships Reports to the Advanced Imaging Operations Manager Principal Responsibilities Produce quality sonograms. Possess knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. Obtain previous related exams that will help evaluate the current exam. Know the capabilities of the equipment. Assist physician with procedures as needed. Prepare sonogram images, including appropriate history and complete worksheet, identifying pathology and providing accurate measurements for interpretation.
