Pros of working at Springfield Partners for Community Action

Flexibility. Pay is good overall.

Cons of working at Springfield Partners for Community Action

Leadership is awful, not all, but most. They flaunt their degrees and titles, but lack the skills and qualities that a good leader should have. Communication is almost always passive aggressive. In conflict resolution, they throw stones and hide. Decision-making is their way. Delegation sometimes is ridiculous, unreasonable expectations. Emotional intelligence is seriously lacking. They lack active listening; it seems they only want to respond, and anything you say is in one ear and out the other. The current leadership team should all find new jobs or seriously attend ongoing management training.

Springfield Partners for Community Action benefits

The pay and benefits are not bad. My favorite part of the day is leaving.

What do you like best about Springfield Partners for Community Action's CEO and the leadership team?

CEO is new. My interactions with him have been limited, but based on discussion with co workers who have been here for a long time, he was on the board and difficult. The leadership team hates each other, is unprofessional, and should be fired.

How would you improve Springfield Partners for Community Action's culture?

Install management who know what it takes to be a leader.

How did you prepare for the Springfield Partners for Community Action interview?

Researched the company, seen bad reviews from previous employees, but wanted to give it a try myself. I figured they were just upset. Unfortunately, after working here, all of the reviews were right about this place.

How does your compensation at Springfield Partners for Community Action compare to the industry average?

Compared to other non profits that do similar work, the pay is good.
