Student Financial Services is currently seeking a Part Time Senior Financial Aid Counselor to work in a fast-paced, high energy, and service oriented environment. Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Financial Services, this position serves as a member of the Enrollment Services team and focuses on enrollment, retention and financial aid processes and services.
This is a fixed term position (through 6/30/2026), with the potential for a permanent appointment based on institutional needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Supports customer service operations by counseling students and families on enrollment and the financial aid applications and processes.Reviews and processes financial aid file review, including verification and packaging of federal, state and institutional aid. Plans and implements FAFSA completion events, FAFSA sessions, and webinars related to FAFSA support.Performs and manages communication to various financial aid/student account groups Provides reporting, processing and deregistration support as part of the enrollment services team. Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience and/or training involving financial aid operations, or loan processing; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge of student financial aid processes.
Experience working with Ellucian Student Information System Colleague, CRM Recruit, Signal Vine, and Microsoft Applications.
Excellent counseling and advising skills supported by effective written and oral communication skills.

This position plays a critical role in advancing the College's mission by overseeing nursing and allied health education initiatives, including simulation-based learning. The Director provides clinical, educational, and technical expertise in the development, implementation, and evaluation of human patient simulation activities. They will oversee budget management, program evaluation, and continuous quality improvement, ensuring alignment with institutional goals, state regulations (Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing - BORN), and national accreditation standards (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing - ACEN). This role requires strong collaboration with faculty, nursing director, support staff, and external stakeholders, including state-wide and regional affinity groups, to enhance student learning outcomes and workforce readiness. The Recruitment Counselor (TRIO Talent Search College Access Advisor) will provide supervision, guidance and support as well as academic enrichment and educational field trips to low-income and/or first generation college middle and high school participants. Guide students through the college enrollment and financial aid application process.
Responsibilities:
* Recruit at assigned schools and maintain the grant-funded number of students within the appropriate low-income, first generation ratio to support the grants goal of serving 695 students within Leominster, Fitchburg and Gardner School districts.
* Assist students in achieving strong academic performance while completing a rigorous course of study ensuring students meet grant-funded requirements by tracking academic progress of all program participants and use academic records (e.g., report cards, transcripts, etc.) in making decisions about specific student services needed to prepare the students for college.
* Check-in weekly with students and target school staff for academic progress;
* Assist high school seniors participating in program throughout the college application process including completing applications, registering for exams (i.e., SAT), completing financial aid applications, college selection, and enrollment.
* Provide and coordinate tutoring sessions and academic programming based on academic needs of students;
* Communicate regularly with students, parents/guardians, and school staff about available program activities including workshops, field trips, and virtual sessions.
* Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with school staff, including guidance counselors, administrators, teachers, and other school staff.
* With Director, revise programming to incorporate new academic workshops to support student success, and as needed restructure components of the summer program to maximize academic strengths of students, as well as plan and organize college visits, virtual and/live information sessions, and career speakers aligned to student interests.

General Statement of Duties: The Staff Associate, Postdoctoral Researcher in Star Formation and Magnetic Fields will conduct research in collaboration with Dr. Ian Stephens at Worcester State University (WSU). The incumbent will work with data from the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA). Part of the funding is to build a single, unified dataset of all HAWC+ polarization data for star-forming regions. Other funds will be used to analyze HAWC+ polarization data to understand the magnetic fields of specific regions in the Gould Belt. Funding is available for 2 years, with a third year possible if more funding is secured. The WSU postdoc will also have an opportunity to collaborate at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian. The preferred start date is September, but other start dates are possible as well.

* Move and arrange portable exhibition bases;
* Assist with mounting art exhibitions (some weekends possibly.);
* Monitor solvents and other materials provided by the art department;
* Organize still life materials; Repair drawing easels and sculpture armatures;

* Familiarity with sculpture, ceramics, painting, and printmaking;
* Minimum carpentry skills;

General Statement of Duties: SAS utilizes Sullivan 138 as a test center, in collaboration with IT and the Math Dept. Hiring and training student proctors will allow SAS team members to remain in the office and respond to the growing needs of our students.
Responsibilities:
1. Proctor quizzes, tests and exams taken by students who are registered with Student Accessibility Services and have approved test accommodations.
2. Closely monitor administration of exams. Do not leave the exam location during designated hours.
3. Immediately report any sign of violation of the University's academic integrity policy.
4. Attend a mandatory training session.
5. Follow SAS protocols regarding exam accommodations and administration.
6. Coordinate and communicate with SAS Clerk and Graduate Assistant.
7. Read exams verbatim to students with corresponding accommodation.
8. Scribe student answers verbatim on to exams for students with corresponding accommodation.
