Having this position is very important to the company. Want to know why? The Backup Receiver position is responsible for all functions and paperwork receiving. Sounds fun! That's not all. Qualifications
To be a Backup Receiver at Sprouts Farmers Market you must:
* Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED
* Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes; weekends and holidays
* Report any receiving discrepancies to Managers and Buyer(s) to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications, examines contents and compares with records, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy equipment
* Attends all applicable trainings, and be able to use or be certified in the use of appropriate equipment needed for store or facility, is able to comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
* Ability to work independently yet have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other team members and Store leadership and is able to knowledgeably communicate with service vendors
* Are you willing to put those muscles to the test? This position requires moving/transferring product weighing up to 60 lbs., from 5" to 56", for up to 30 feet for up to 30 hours without mechanical assistance. Crazy right!
* Must use pallet jack to horizontally transfer product weighing up to 1000 lbs., requiring a force up to 50 lbs., for a distance up to 150 feet for up to 40 hours.
* Vision required for reviewing invoices and monitoring incoming product.
* Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) ability to multi-task, ability to understand proper retail receiving, and basic computer knowledge
* Is able to execute other duties as needed
Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $25.90 / hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.

Assisting the department manager in managing margin, COGs and overall department profitability including minimizing shrink and maximizing effective purchasing. Setting and maintaining the department on a daily basis including ensuring that the produce rack is consistently fresh, full and abundant throughout the day. Culling, crisping, rotating and properly handling/storing produce. Ensuring only certified organic produce is ordered and received. Ensuring all in-stock products/conditions meet company standards. Ensuring that all tools and equipment are cleaned in accordance with health department and company standards. Receiving all incoming produce orders per company standards. Offering and following up on special orders. Assisting in training and monitoring department personnel. Conducting active and passive demos. Working with the department manager to address performance issues within the department. Handling register functions including backup cashiering, managing customer returns, addressing customer complaints, and covering register shift changes, including those for scheduled breaks. Maintaining the safety and security of customers and employees. Overview of Responsibilities

Qualifications
To be an Assistant Bakery Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market you must:
* Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
* Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays.
* Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
* Have good communication skills; and the ability to give and take direction participating in a team environment.
* Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
* Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area (including tables, floor, walls, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.).
* Be able to operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed. Uses knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products.
* Be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously, for a total of 8 hours per shift. This role also requires vertically transferring tray up to 5 lbs., from 7" to 64" for up to 10 hours, and vertically/horizontally transferring items up to 40 lbs., from 5" to 36", for a distance up to 36 feet for up to 10 hours without mechanical assistance.
* Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations, and achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
Pay Range
