Safety * Follow all safety rules and adhere to core value of business. * Maintain clean, orderly work areas and equipment. * Report repairs and/or issues to team lead or supervisor. 2. Quality * Ensure proper and effective operation of entire finishing system throughout the painting process so that all parts and surfaces are free from defects. * Monitor quality of own work and immediately report defective material, unusual conditions, and/or operating difficulties to team lead or supervisor. * Perform light maintenance on equipment, machines, and other devices used in the normal course of the work performed. 3. Delivery * Ability to read work orders so that the correct part numbers are selected, and correct color is applied to parts. * Daily documentation of work performed for required production records. * Utilize small tools such as grinders to remove scratches, excess weld material and burrs. * Operates sandblasting machine to clean surfaces prior to painting or coating. * Coordinate staging and sequencing of hanging of parts, production items, and product components to be painted on overhead conveyor system. * Operate spray painting guns, equipment, and related items in the appropriate/efficient manner, being sure to follow all safety and OSHA standards. * Unload of parts, items, and product components. 4.
