Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Electrical Assembly Technician. The core hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm. This position is located in the Pearland area (288/SamHouston Parkway). Starting pay: $28.05 + after 4 months of service$29.11 + after 8 months of service: $30.42 **What you'll do:** + Assemble, wire, and test electrical components such as relays, switches, transformers, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, etc. while upholding safety requirements + Install completed assemblies into cabinets and enclosures as required + Accurately layout and position assembly components to ensure construction feasibility and ease of installation and future maintenance. + Participate in switchrack construction: including bus fabrication and assembly, enclosure construction, component layout and mounting to frame. Installation, measurement, fabrication, and installation of conduit and associated fittings, and wiring of complete assembly. + Identify opportunities for continuous improvement/cost savings for operations and/or the facility + Analyze job requirements from blueprints and schematics. Applications Engineering Development Program participants will gain exposure to the Applications Engineering function as well as the Sales Engineering function at each of their assignment locations (Eaton manufacturing locations).
