Create, modify and/or maintain complex design files (3D & 2D) using CAD to 3D model, analyze and document the product design preferably using Solidworks.
Create test plans and work in a lab environment to prove out concepts, prototypes and the Verification and Validation of the product design.

**What You Will Do:**
Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented Warehouse Associates at our Clayton Distribution Center located at 6300 Kimmel Road, Clayton, OH 45315. As a Caterpillar Warehouse Associate, you support Caterpillar's customers by getting parts from our distribution centers directly to where they need them. Position Summary:
The Engineering Manager - Electronics plans, organizes, and directs a team of engineers to meet plant and company objectives for design, new product development, and improvement of existing product lines. * Read blueprints, schematics, work orders and/or assembly sketches
* Coordinate staging and sequencing of parts, productions items, and product components
* Prepare both metals and work surfaces for the production process
* Select appropriate tools, materials, gas ratios, and build fixturing/shipping brackets as needed
* Transfer completed product to next workstation/process using cranes and forklift as needed
* Perform light maintenance on equipment, machines, and other devices used in the normal course of work performed
* Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
Required Experience
* 1 year MIG welding in production/manufacturing environment
* Mechanical aptitude
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Basic math skills
* Strong attention to detail and quality, working within precise limits and/or standards of accuracy
* Forklift certification
* Overhead crane operation
* Self-driven, able to work independently, and as a team
* Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Education & Certifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
