Key Responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership & Talent Development Provide strategic direction and leadership to Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality teams. Establish departmental goals, objectives, and performance metrics aligned with company strategy. Lead, mentor, and develop Engineering and Quality personnel; support succession planning and talent development for Engineering Manager and Quality Manager Quality Initiatives Maintain SRC Automotive's quality system certifications and ensure compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Exercise authority to stop production when serious product defects or safety risks are identified. Support Quality & Engineering Manager in internal and external audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and preventive initiatives. Continuous Improvement Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, lower costs, and improve product quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles and data-driven continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Support product launch schedule, ensuring launches are on time, in budget, and meet customer expectations. Collaboration Provide technical engineering and quality support to current and prospective customers. Communicate SRC Automotive's quality goals, results, and capabilities to customers and internal stakeholders. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Leadership to align engineering and quality initiatives with business objectives. Budgeting & Planning Develop and manage budgets for Engineering and Quality departments. Lead capital expenditure planning and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet ROI expectations. Plan staffing needs, manage performance evaluations, and ensure efficient use of resources. Culture Champion Actively participate in Open Book Management through the Great Game of Business. Champion a strong culture of safety, risk mitigation, and accountability across the facility. Support facility initiatives in the form of Mini Games, Scoreboards, and other Great Game Principles Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in engineering and/or quality within a manufacturing environment. Automotive or engine manufacturing experience preferred. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and statistical analysis methods. Proven experience maintaining quality certifications and leading internal and external audits. Demonstrated success implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with budget management, capital planning, and strategic execution. Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities. Confident, decisive leader with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Effective relationship-building skills with internal teams, customers, and external partners. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Our Advanced CNC Operators operate machine shop equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, presses, drill presses, CMM, or operate an assembly line for routine parts from casting. They may operate manual machining equipment. They produce production parts to required tolerances for preparation for the engine assembly. This is a 1st shift position working 5:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Thursday with mandatory overtime as needed. About the Job: Performs routine production duties by following written processes to operate machinery such as: mills, lathes, grinders, seat/guide/stud presses, induction heat treating equipment, drill presses, CMM, specialized gauging equipment for seat and guides and operate an assembly line to specific tolerances in required quantities. Performs equipment set up, make machine offsets, maintain tooling, and may perform minor operating modifications to equipment as needed. Responsible for the visual and quantifiable inspection of the result of their process. Ability to use and understand general machine shop gauges, operate a CMM, and understand the CMM data to know when machines need adjusted. Assess adjustments needed to CNC equipment by reviewing CMM reports, make adjustments as necessary, check adjustments for accuracy. Resolves basic production and machine operating problems, reports non-routine machinery failures to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor for assistance. Maintains good housekeeping in the department. Follows all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding. Maintains a safe working environment by following company safety policies. Performs daily Total Preventive Maintenance on the equipment to maintain their quality. Assist in other production areas as needed. Assist in SRC Automotive's continuous improvement efforts. Works within production processes to ensure compliance with IATF-16949. Participates in and supports the principles of Open Book Management. Work Environment: Applicants must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. You may be exposed to harsh conditions such as dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures for extended period of times. PPE such as steel toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection may be required. Physical Requirements: You will regularly be required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk and hear. Opens clogged drains, fixes leaks, and performs other simple plumbing jobs. Assist with basic landscaping work as needed to include; pulling of weeds and brush, snow removal, salting of walkways, and other unskilled yard work. Works with others to maintain a high value on a safe workforce. Maintains good housekeeping in the department. Performs maintenance work to the maintenance processes to meet IATF 16949:2016 standards. Participates in and supports the principles of Open Book Management. POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Controller, this position will perform general tasks in the accounts payable field. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicates with vendors, the Purchasing department, and Accounting Manager to ensure timely receipt of accounts payable. Accounts Payable duties to include: processing invoices, check runs, reviewing vendor statements, and preparing month end journal entries Process and track wires for overseas vendors Generation and reconciliation of report data Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations Employee may perform accounting duties with minimal supervision, including problem solving, internal and external phone contact, and data and information analysis Quarterly sales and use tax filings Learn and cross-train on Accounts Receivable Assist with year-end audit review for external audit staff Work attendance must be exemplary.
