ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise the electronics and emissions operations function concurrent with business growth, introduction of new operational systems, and meeting Company financial objectives. Conceive, research, plan, target, and control reductions in cost and product lead time on existing and new products. Establish, prepare, implement, revise, and maintain policies and procedures related to operations. Implement and maintain 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Train and engage team members in 5S best practices and material control processes to promote a culture of discipline and ownership. Manage material flow and inventory control, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and traceability of materials. Participate in the generation and review of the monthly production build plan; issue the plan to the assembly, inspection and test areas. Oversee assembly status/progress records of subassembly and end item core/new parts updated continuously during the movement of these materials between the various functional areas. Oversee production training matrices and ensure accelerated development of 76associates. Meet goals in relation to safety, quality, and on-time delivery of products. Administer and work closely with the Engineering and Quality Departments to provide a safe working environment and a quality product.
