We are seeking skilled F/A-18 Avionics Technicians with "O" Level - Flightline Maintenance experience to join our team as a Maintenance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This is a St. Louis based / REMOTE opportunity with occasional travel.
Maintenance SMEs will assist in the design, development, and revision of technical publications for the Navy's Super Hornet and Growler aircraft. SMEs will follow formats and templates as required by a program and when required may develop appropriate document formats for specific publications.
These are tremendous opportunities to transition from hands-on aircraft experience into an office environment while drawing from the intrinsic aircraft specific experience all while staying relevant in the aerospace industry.
MAINTENANCE SME RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform the duties of technical publications writer on one or more military aircraft programs, to write, design, and document to specification guidelines
Edit scripts, storyboards, and select and edit supporting graphic content
Review and ensure quality, technical correctness and instructional soundness of draft and final documents
Participate in all phases of project execution (Analysis, Design, Development)
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years' of Squadron / Flightline maintenance as an AT on the Super Hornet or Growler aircraft is REQUIRED
Ability to interpret technical documentation such as blueprints, schematics, technical publications
Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment
Ability to work independently and ensure performance to deadlines and milestones
Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively deliver a complex message, either written or verbal

Description
As a Land GIS Analyst you will support Land Asset Teams by digitizing GIS spatial elements, generating and plotting land maps, monitoring, maintaining, and manipulating land spatial databases, maintaining mapping standards. Land GIS Analysts provide training in GIS theory and the functionality of ArcGIS Pro and ArcPro Server. They also have the opportunity to conduct research and analysis of GIS data relevant to the L48 Land groups, and gathering and displaying third-party data and spatial elements within the mapping systems.

Responsibilities:
Electrical Engineers interface with a wide variety of personnel on instrumentation and power distribution issues. Typical activities range from providing technical assistance as a team member in maintenance type functions and supporting projects to leading the execution of project to improve the plant electrical and instrumentation systems. Electrical Engineers often conduct investigations and root cause failure analysis of plant systems. In addition, Electrical Engineers must have previous exposure with pertinent issues of the electrical and instrument codes and specifications. They must also have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to contribute in a team environment.
Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Project Engineers work on a variety of real-world electrical and instrumentation projects in a refinery setting. You will develop and utilize project management skills including scope alignment, cost and schedule development, and teamwork through multiple engineering phases. We are committed to developing engineers into professional project managers who successfully manage projects of all sizes.
Reliability Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineers troubleshoot Electrical & Instrumentation issues at the refinery. You will analyze failures of equipment, develop solutions for recurring equipment difficulties, submit Project Request Forms (PRF's) to implement solutions, and understand equipment maintenance strategies. There will be opportunities to use electrical analysis software to solve coordination issues and run Arc Flash studies for the power system, as well as learning and understanding about how our critical Refinery Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) are applied.
Process Control / Technical Service Engineers can work on a wide array of projects in support of the process control systems installed throughout the refinery and products movements areas. The process control systems in the refinery provide real-time control and data acquisition functions in support of operating the refinery process and electrical equipment.

Position Summary:
Performs all duties and skills required for company operations and maintenance with a minimum of supervision, including troubleshooting and repair of facilities and associated equipment.

Primary Duties:
* Knows the function, location and operation of station valves and mainline block valves. Lubricates valves following manufacturer and company guidelines. Has a working knowledge of the valve numbers on station and mainline valves.
* Can make routine inspections of station equipment, station yard piping and valves and the reporting of any problems.
* Changes compressor valves, spark plugs, fuel hoses and igniters as well as performs other routine station maintenance activities.
* Assists in compressor unit overhauls.
* Has a working knowledge of the ESD system as to function, operation and location of all ESD stands.
* Maintains good housekeeping practices.
* Operates forklift, tractor, and other power-operated equipment.
* Uses hand and power tools and paint spray equipment according to company procedures and manufacturer's guidelines.
* Paints piping, equipment, and facilities.
* Has operating knowledge and skills with regard to equipment used for pipeline work.
* Assists in all phases of a shut-down of a section of pipeline.
* Performs leakage surveys and operates flame ionization detection equipment.
* Installs and maintains pipeline markers.
* Investigates Aerial Patrol Reports. Communicates with the patrol pilot and assists in relaying reports and messages to those responsible.
* Investigates encroachments on pipelines and completes the appropriate reports. Represents the company during line crossings ensuring company requirements are met.
* Assists in maintaining and repairing the pipeline right-of-way.
* Able to identify company pipelines as to location and description with the aid of alignment sheets, pipe locator, probing bar, digging the line out and measuring the OD of the pipe.
