PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides technical knowledge analyzing Epic vendor software updates and the impact to the business for Epic applications.
Troubleshoots and resolves basic to moderately complex application issues and provides end-user support for Epic applications.
Codes complex functions including building application tables and reports for Epic applications.
Updates testing scripts to incorporate ongoing system development and implementations.
Acts as a resource for Epic colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with manageable risk and resource requirements.
Analyzes, prioritizes, and organizes technical requirement specifications, using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to inform decision making.
Solves complex problems, takes a new perspective on existing solutions and exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Manages end of month tasks and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate reports to the Finance team.
Develops and produces high level reports such as board reports, annual survey reports, major gift metrics and works with the special event manager to reconcile event income and conducts monthly reconciliation with Finance.
Develops and maintains dashboards to track fundraising progress, campaign performance, donor retention and pipeline activity, as requested, and ensures that data coding supports dashboard accuracy.
Works with the Manager of Major Gifts to ensure that major gift proposals, portfolios and metric reports accurately reflect major gift team activity.
Analyzes donor giving trends and behaviors to identify opportunities for increased engagement and growth.
Process maps - Works with department team members to develop and implement process maps for annual gift, major gift and grateful patient programs and provides data-driven insights to support those areas.
Prepares lists and segmentations for solicitations, stewardship mailings and event invitations.
Develops and manages project timelines.
Conducts periodic review of code tables and coordinates coding adjustments across LBH entities.
Crossed trained in gift processing.
In conjunction with the Director of Operations, provides database review and training for new employees.
Performs mass imports and global changes as needed using Omatic software.
Recommends software training goals for Development team members based on data reviews and audits.
Reviews Blackbaud Community groups to keep abreast of system best practices and solutions to data challenges.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in a nonprofit and/or hospital setting. Raiser's Edge experience or similar fundraising CRM and/or email marking software systems experience.

Reporting to the Director of SAP, the SAP Business Analyst-Help Desk is someone who monitors the SAP Help Desk daily and performs a variety of SAP business analyst duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. These duties include evaluating and analyzing SAP Help Desk requests, solving SAP Help Desk incidents when possible, gathering business requirements from stakeholders for SAP Help Desk requests that require larger enhancements/changes, assigning SAP Help Desk tasks to other members of the SAP team or our offshore Help Desk support team and coordinating with the SAP and offshore teams to complete each incident and change request in a timely fashion. This is a non-supervisory position.
Responsibilities
Monitor the SAP Help Desk daily.
Assess each new SAP incident to determine the proper course of action.
Solve SAP incidents when possible.
Gather and analyze business requirements from business stakeholders for SAP Help Desk requests that require larger enhancements or changes.
Assign SAP Help Desk tasks to other members of the SAP team or our offshore Help Desk support team as necessary
Review and track progress on existing SAP Help Desk tasks.
Meet daily with our offshore team to assess progress on all open incidents. Coordinate efforts between offshore consultants and our SAP team as necessary.
Provide support to the SAP Team or other business and technology teams as necessary during design, development and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions.
Help identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with each solution/design.
Motivate work of others outside of direct authority to ensure SAP Help Desk milestones and deliverables are met.
Communicate and work with consultants
Work closely in a global team environment
Perform other duties as requested by the Director of SAP.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or relevant job experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field required
Experience

2 - 4 years of SAP experience required. Cross functional knowledge across multiple SAP modules including Sales and Distribution (SD), Logistics Execution (LE), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Production Planning (PP) and Finance & Controlling (FICO) preferred
Experience with multiple SAP implementations preferred
ABAP Programming experience a plus
