Job Summary:
Supports and maintains Epic applications and other related technical integrations to meet the needs of the organization. Impacts a range of customers that primarily include the operational end-users and informational technology areas.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides routine maintenance of Epic applications and systems using existing internal processes, policies, and procedures.
Troubleshoots and resolves basic Epic application issues and provides end user support. Escalates issues appropriately to application team members.
Assists the team in analyzing Epic vendor software updates and tests updates according to scripts.
Codes for Epic application including building application tables and reports.
Assists with updating testing scripts to incorporate ongoing system sevelopment and implementations.
Builds requirements for configuration and business process changes.
Follows tasks as assigned in project plans for routine projects to support meeting milestones and timeframes. Performs standard system testing, both unit and integrated.
Organizes requirement specifications, using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to inform decision-making.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
As part of the Associate Analyst role at SSM, candidates are required to obtain Epic certification within the first six (6) months of employment. Associates will be provided with up to three (3) attempts to successfully pass the Epic certification exam.

Job Description
The Analyst will be responsible for the development and production of Asset Lifing projects under the supervision of the Manager. The analyst will be responsible for on-site information gathering, analysis of building and hospital equipment assets, and the development of Excel files and written reports. The analyst will be required to work with client representatives to ascertain key data points associated with an asset's description, its current utilization, and its planned obsolescence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop margin improvement assessments for potential clients.
Visit client locations to describe the assets accurately with an asset relifing study.
Work with Harborside in a team environment to complete various tasks of lifing study.
Communicate with client representatives to acquire knowledge about a facility's overall construction.
Communicate with client representatives to ascertain utilization and planned obsolescence of hospital equipment assets.
Prepare Excel documentation for on-site verification.
Prepare and deliver in-house presentations for work product developed.
Maintain strong awareness of firm services, industry trends, and relevant regulations.
Identify opportunities to upsell and/or cross-sell firm services.
Respond to client-related inquiries, issues, concerns, and requests, and collaborate with practice leaders and executives as appropriate.
Review ongoing performance results against targets and offer input on how to improve overall efficiency and accuracy while performing tasks.
Comply with Company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, BioMed related discipline.
Minimum 0-4 years consulting experience, preferably within the healthcare sector. Must be willing to travel up to 30%.
Proven ability to communicate and work within a team or in a collaborative manner.
Knowledge or experience of hospital fixed assets, ERP, and/or accounting principles is desired, but not required.
Excellent business acumen with strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Implements, maintains and supports HIM standards, to meet the business needs of Intermountain Heath, drives identification of requirements for document management workflows and standards. Identifies areas of improvements and processes through data analysis and designs innovative solutions.

**Essential Functions**
+ Analyzes and documents user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and/or workflows. Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and limitations.
+ Performs daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
+ Researches, troubleshoots, prioritizes and resolves assigned ServiceNow tickets, chats, emails, and phone calls. Documents in ticketing system and responds promptly as guided by service level agreements.
+ Documents workflows, configure and/or build activities, change management adherence, end user notifications, training information and status reporting in the appropriate system
+ Innovate, design, implement, support and maintain workflows, processes and HIM identified work.
+ Collaborates with clinical, nonclinical and technical support teams to identify system needs and opportunities for improvement.
+ Ensures compliance with Health Information Management standards.

**Required Qualifications**

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Associate degree in Health Information Technology or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or healthcare related field from an accredited institution. Education is verified.
+ RHIT/RHIA Certification..

+ Sitting for long periods of time.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.
+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers require caregiver to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
+ For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
