The EEG Technician is responsible for the preparation and performance of various neurodiagnostic modalities as well as associated paperwork supporting those functions. Other responsibilities include training of department personnel regarding modalities performed. Modalities will be performed on patients of all ages. Will demonstrate the ability to take responsibility for performance and programs, assess individual competency in modality performance, assess patient data, and present to physician/hospital personnel which may affect the diagnosis/treatment of the patient. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Requirements:
Clinical experience in a Neurodiagnostic department required. (Clinical education time can be counted toward this requirement).
