The Hospice Aide provides personal care and light household services to Hospice clients on an intermittent, part-time basis under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse in accordance with a medically approved plan of care. The length of the assignment varies based upon client needs. Hospice coverage would primarily include, but not limited to, the Montevideo area. This dual-role position involves providing support to urologists and delivering essential nursing care to patients. The ideal candidate will be proficient in nursing care practices and demonstrate a compassionate approach to patient interaction. The Urology Tech functions under the direction of the RN and performs procedures related to orthopedic and urological care. This position requires flexibility in working in patient care areas throughout the hospital. Schedule Full-time | 60 hours every two weeks Days |12-hr shifts | 7 a.m.- 7:30 p.m. Every 3rd weekend | every 3rd holiday Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $17.71 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $17.71 - $26.54 per hour Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts Benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available Qualifications Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training course or completion of 3 months of a healthcare program required. Minimum of 3 months direct patient care experience acceptable in lieu of required education. Minimum of 3 months experience as nursing assistant, student nurse, medic, EMT or similar experience. Additional training/orientation will be provided to achieve desired level of competency. Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. NCI certification.
