Variety of roles and career paths, union representation for collective bargaining and conflict resolution, and years ago had reasonable staffing levels
Foreign ownership who robbed our storeroom of critical inventory of long lead items, failed to backfill critical skills, staffing and funding for an aging infrastructure, utilities and facilities. Union representation also protected toxic and abusive people who would have been fired at a non-union shop.
Getting to work with some excellent people that P&G has left behind. (Their loss)
No info on the CEO. But foreign ownership was never going to allow SBSC to succeed
The doors are closing forever soon according to plant management so the question is pointless.
I interviewed under P&G ownership.
No raises in recent years, late payroll and currently no insurance coverage and few customers remaining, down to 3 packing lines running out of 17!! This is not the fault of the CEO unless the CEO is paid by VVF (current SBSC parent company)
I think we did well. The recent rounds of hirings followed by layoffs confused and frustrated leadership who had just completed all the interviews. Good hirees were not willing to come back after being laid off.
