Work with Capital One clients and Capital One Executive Events Production team to advance production details for events hosted at Capital One Hall.
Work with Private Event clients and teams to advance production details for events hosted at Capital One Hall.
Schedule production labor for assigned events/shows.
Serve as the on-call production manager for assigned shows and events.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of the show needs are met (i.e., VIP entries, parking logistics, and other non-production details)
Coordinate with Sales Department, and Operations department on room set-ups i.e. orientation of stage, AV and lighting and control placement.
Prepare production estimates for Capital One clients, promoters and manage changes, adjustments to estimates when needed.
Manage employee payroll and make WIP edits to employee payroll when needed.
Steward vendor relationships and manage vendor invoices, payment to vendors via accounts payable and bills.com.
Assist in management of a preventative maintenance program for all light, sound, video, and rigging/ staging equipment.
Recommend capital purchases or improvements to director of production.
Provide for the training, safe working conditions and welfare of stage employees in accordance with Legends Global policies, and applicable EEO and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
Must have attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must have experience as a technician in at least one discipline (audio, lighting, video, rigging)
Must have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills necessary for planning and directing coverage at events.
Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Must have the ability to train, plan, assign, direct work, and motivate stage personnel.
Understand and work from general instructions, specifications, blueprints, lighting plots, rigging plots, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Must be able to prepare, analyze and operate within department budget.
Must have strong computer skills.
Education and/or Experience
4-year degree in Theater with technical emphasis or professional equivalence
3-year minimum experience working in a performing arts center/theater
Knowledge of production operations, maintenance, and stage management
Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, state and other work environment and safety regulations
Working knowledge of fire and public safety issues
Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications:
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
* Valid RN License from Virginia or reciprocal compact state required.
* Successful completion of an online adult/adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) course through the International Association of Forensic Nurses required within 30 days of hire.
* AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
* Must complete International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) approved Comprehensive Training for Adults within four months of hire.
* Must complete International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) approved Comprehensive Training for Pediatrics within one year of hire.
* Must be able to respond to exam site at Mary Washington Hospital within 60 minutes.
* Must have own transportation.
* Must be available to take on call time.
* Emergency / trauma experienced preferred.
* Membership in a professional organization preferred.

The School of Professional & Continuing Education (SPCE) seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Assistant to support the planning and execution of special events, special projects, and fundraising initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management, project coordination, and fundraising activities within a dynamic and innovative academic environment. The Graduate Assistant will work closely with the Dean and key members of the SPCE leadership team to support high-visibility initiatives that advance the mission and impact of the unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of SPCE events, including receptions, donor gatherings, strategic planning sessions, and community engagement activities.
* Coordinate logistics such as space reservations, catering, communications, and materials for events and initiatives.
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution of programs and events.
* Contribute to marketing and communications efforts for events and initiatives, including drafting content and assisting with promotional strategies.
* Provide project management support for strategic initiatives, ensuring timelines, tasks, and deliverables are met.
* Support fundraising and development efforts including stewardship activities.
* Provide administrative and logistical support to the Dean and other SPCE leadership as needed.
