Classroom Paraprofessional
St. Coletta of Greater Washington is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and secondary disabilities. We are currently seeking A Classroom Paraprofessional who will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to an assigned student and assisting the teacher in providing a learning environment that improves and develops the student's social, communication, and intellectual skills
Examples of Essential Functions:
Assists assigned student with physical care, feeding, medication, mobility, or other skills as designated by the teacher or therapist.
Reinforces skills introduced by the teacher and provides instruction to students as prescribed by the teacher; may utilize games, stories, or other construction activities to enhance learning skills.
Assists students with gross motor activities such as grasping, holding objects, posture, crawling, and walking. The ability to lift and position physically disabled individuals may be required..
Assists with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, and community-based instruction. The ability to keep up with running children and or to lift or assist with lifting students is essential to perform this task.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and prior experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Demonstrated ability to fulfill the dexterity and physical requirements of the work, and effectively attend to the needs of a student with intellectual disabilities
• Ability to work with individuals and small groups of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all employees.
• Ability to prepare and maintain required program records.
• Ability to assist supervising instructional staff in preparing and organizing materials.

Definition
Under general supervision of the Chief Development Officer, the incumbent is responsible in advancing St. Coletta's mission through the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors. This position manages a portfolio that includes major gifts, annual giving, grants, and corporate partnerships, ensuring sustainable funding to support our programs and growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic relationship-builder, an effective communicator, and a passionate advocate in fundraising or in a sales/account management role, building relationships, growing revenue, and managing portfolios, this position offers the opportunity to apply your skills to create meaningful social impact for the SCGW mission.

Examples of Essential Functions
Drive Fundraising Success - Lead strategies for major gifts, online giving, and annual fund campaigns. Implement the annual fundraising plan by building strong donor pipelines. Identify, cultivate, and solicit new and existing donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.
Secure Grants & Sponsorships - Research, write, and manage a portfolio of grants; cultivate and grow corporate partnerships; track deadlines, deliverables, and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Summary:

Youth Treatment Specialist 3rd Shift Wisconsin Community Services (WCS) Specialized Services Program - Jefferson County Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility Wisconsin Community Services (WCS) is excited to announce openings for Youth Treatment Specialists in Jefferson County. This position works in a therapeutic milieu environment serving youth at a State Certified Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility (YCSF) serving male, female and gender non-conforming youth, ages 8-17, supporting youth through a mental health crisis that has resulted in a youth needing a safe space to reside for up to 30 days. The Youth Treatment Specialist 3 rd shift works overnight ensuring all youth and staff are safe and following nighttime procedures. This can include tasks such as completing bed checks, monitoring youth on suicide protocol, following sleep hygiene and bedwetting protocols, waking youth, and coaching them to complete activities of daily living, administering medication teaching skills. Other tasks such as completing building tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and inventory, preparing meals, putting together educational materials, and other programming material to prepare for the days schedule.
Perform third shift room checks verifying the status of each youth, ensuring youth are asleep, not distressed and are safe.
Serve as a positive role model and work alongside a Lead Youth Treatment Specialist in the milieu supporting therapeutic interactions by coaching skill use throughout morning activities, modeling appropriate behavior, teaching, and reinforcing use and generalization of skills through a token economy system.
Use evidence-based best practices for youth with mental health, substance use and life needs. This includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, youth centered, and culturally reverent approaches while celebrating youth's development and identity.
Calmly and responsibly respond during crisis situations and intervene to de-escalate utilizing Principles of Stabilization and Control (POSC) for non-escalation, de-escalation, and possible physical intervention to maintain safety in the environment for youth and staff when preventing or responding to a crisis.
Attend mandatory meetings including but not limited to staff meetings, new employee and ongoing trainings, individual supervision, team meetings, and other clinical staffing as required.
Participate and meet the DHS34 clinical supervision requirements of one hour of supervision for every thirty hours of face-to-face contact.

Under general supervision of the Director of IEP Assessment, the incumbent is responsible in supporting the academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development of students with moderate to severe disabilities. This position involves conducting comprehensive assessments, providing consultation and intervention support, and collaborating closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
In accordance with the federal wage-hour laws, this is a salaried position and is not subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act's (FLSA) minimum wage and overtime pay requirements.

Creativity, initiative and effective problem solving is also important to the success of the incumbent. Complete all paperwork accurately and timely. Perform bus duty detail as assigned. Examples of Essential Functions
Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct comprehensive psychological, cognitive, and behavioral evaluations for students.
Compile clear, thorough, and accessible evaluation reports aligned with IDEA requirements.
Present and interpret assessment results during MDT/IEP meetings with families and school teams.
Collect and analyze data through records reviews, observations, interviews, and standardized testing tools.
Ensure timely submission of reports and upload all documentation to PowerSchool Special Programs.
Participate in parent conferences and eligibility determination discussions.
Intervention & Consultation
Design and recommend evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions tailored to student needs.
Proactively screen and evaluate students for academic and behavioral concerns.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and outside service providers to support student success.
Offer classroom strategies to promote effective learning environments and enhance students' social-emotional development.
Required Qualifications:
Team Support & Collaboration
Serve as the lead psychologist in IEP and special education meetings, supporting case managers through the eligibility process.
Provide ongoing consultation to educators and families on student progress and individualized needs.
Assist in the development of measurable IEP goals and transition planning when applicable.
Participate in school-based problem-solving and support teams as needed.
Compliance & Communication
Maintain daily communication through St. Coletta email and ensure regular documentation of productivity and compliance activities.
Promptly report caseload or assessment barriers to the Director of IEP and Assessments.
Attend all required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions.

Minimum Acceptable Education and Experience:
· Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
· Must hold or be eligible for a DC School Service Provider License with an endorsement in School Psychology.
· National certification (NCSP - Nationally Certified School Psychologist) preferred but not required.
· Completion of an accredited internship or practicum in a school setting preferred.
