**What you will do**
It is the role of the Concierge to guide consumers and their "secondary guests" through the entire urgent care visit to enhance the consumer experience by maximizing throughput and delivering clinical excellence. The Concierge is responsible for a variety of clinical functions, including but not limited to assisting the provider with care and treatment, laboratory testing, x-ray examinations, and other duties. The Concierge also performs patient registration, collection of payments, rooming, and patient discharge. All Concierges are expected to maintain competency and perform in all assigned positions on a rotating basis. This position is a vital part of the urgent care team that works under the direction of the Site Manager and works closely with the provider and other clinical staff. Must demonstrate discretion; good judgment; diplomacy; decision-making; and a customer service attitude.
+ Collects identification and payor related documentation, conducts registration using EPIC workflow.
+ Measures and documents vitals and communicates the resulting data to the consumer and provider, including temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and pain level.
+ Documents chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications accurately in EPIC for review by provider.
+ Performs and documents laboratory testing and collections per provider orders and/or standard operating procedures, to include venipuncture with prior venipuncture competency check-off.
+ Administers and documents oral and intramuscular medication using the appropriate medication verification workflow. If a Medical Assistant, may also administer intramuscular medication.
+ Assists provider with procedures to include, but not limited to maintaining sterile field, laceration repair, I&D, and application of ortho-goods and assists with ortho-glass application.
+ Performs diagnostic x-rays and documents completion of radiology examinations within the licensed scope of practice as ordered and verified by the provider. Performs x-rays following established protocols and utilizes appropriate exposure factors for care and safety. Ensures images and applicable communication are transferred to radiology group for overread and assures all images have a report on file in the medical record.
+ Behave in a professional and empathetic manner to build trust, comfort, understanding, and relationships with consumers and secondary guest(s) and in-line with patient experience standards.
+ Welcomes the consumer and secondary guest(s) to the center (including eye contact, smile, greeting, and personal introduction) and inquires about the purpose and nature of the visit.
+ Recognizes and notifies provider immediately of emergent patients, performs BLS, provides oxygen administration, and assists provider with emergency care.
+ Schedules primary care referrals for consumers
+ Maintains office supplies, medical supplies, and medications at appropriate par levels as assigned.
+ Performs quality checks throughout out the facility per established policies and procedures.
+ Other duties as assigned

Here's What You Need
Texas Health _Radiographers_ are responsible for performing complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations, explaining procedures to patient or guardian/family member prior to exam. Processing and manipulating images, analyzing image quality, troubleshooting, making technique adjustments or repeating procedures as needed.
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful _Radiographer_ will
+ assess and recognize the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions.
+ establish age appropriate patient care plan that coordinates multiple rehab disciplines into a unified overarching plan of care that adheres to regulatory requirements.
+ prepare room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies).

THFW IR supports 5 IR suites and works directly with our Radiology care unit that takes care of our patients pre and post procedure.
The Interventional Radiology Technologist functions independently as a member of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR), Neuro Endovascular Radiology team.
Direct care team members include a registered nurse, a scrub (Rad Tech or RN), physician assistant if needed, as well as the physicians performing the procedure.
This individual is responsible for helping perform a variety of complex specialized tasks including but not limited to operating fluoroscopy, computed tomography, laser, and ultrasonography equipment during vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures, assisting in positioning patients safely and accurately to ensure high quality interpretation, sterile technique, and post processing of the images taken during the case.
The ability to self-direct and to organize a varied workload is required.
The IR rad tech can act in both the shooting of case and the scrub roles.
Duties for this position include but are not limited to radiation safety, patient teaching, assisting with patient care within scope of practice for ages ranging from newborn to geriatric, preparing sterile supply trays, passing guidewires and catheters, passing sterile supplies and instruments during the procedure, inventory management and schedule coordination.
