Key Responsibilities
Ensure consistent daily operations across the Aquatics Center in accordance with department standards and local code
Supervise and support the lifeguard and aquatics operations team in delivering high-quality safety and service

Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for aquatic safety, venue readiness, and preventative maintenance

Participate in capital planning, equipment specification, and operational input for aquatic-related projects

Respond to incidents and serve in a leadership role during facility emergencies
Backfill key aquatics operations roles when needed to maintain operational integrity
What You Bring
Minimum 3 years in an aquatics operations leadership role in a year-round aquatic facility
Associate's Degree (AA/AS) or 60 units toward a Bachelor's degree required
Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding and Lifeguard Instructor certifications
Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification
EMT (VA/NREMT) certification preferred or ability to obtain within one year
Strong understanding of pool system operations, safety standards, and emergency preparedness
Proven ability to lead teams, enforce standards, and coordinate with internal departments
Physically capable of meeting lifeguard and rescue readiness requirements, including strength, endurance, and water competency
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with audit or maintenance tracking software is a plus

Clean and maintain the Zamboni in immaculate condition; following all scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
Perform weekly blade change service on Zamboni
Fill out compressor system log sheet at scheduled intervals.
Clean Dasher Board glass; remove puck marks
Perform light janitorial duties through all locker rooms & Ice House spaces
Must be willing to work in a cool temperature environment
Assist with miscellaneous Facility services as needed
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.

Position Overview:
The Procurement Manager directly oversees all procurement processes for both the Springfield Flagship and the Bethesda Performance Club. This role is responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of a purchasing system, approval processes, and negotiations for preferred pricing. Procurement Manager will work closely with the General Manager to ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and best practices are met for the procurement functions.

Procurement and Purchasing Systems:
Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan aligned with the company's growth objectives, ensuring scalability as the business expands.
Analyze market trends and emerging opportunities in sports, wellness, and entertainment sectors to inform purchasing decisions and innovation in vendor partnerships
Develop and implement a streamlined purchasing system for both the Flagship and Bethesda Performance Club, ensuring alignment with business needs. This will likely include the adoption of an electronic system to efficiently manage procurement functions.
Oversee the procurement process from request to approval, including managing purchase orders, setting up a checkbook system, and ensuring proper documentation for all purchases.
Manage the approval process for all purchase orders and related expenses, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines and operational requirements.
Negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements with key suppliers to optimize cost efficiencies. Maximize the utilization and benefits of Avendra, Ramp or other resources.
Regularly assess and evaluate vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Create a preferred vendor list and manage ongoing vendor performance to ensure compliance with agreements and high service standards.
Work closely with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of required products and services.
Travel Cost Optimization:
Lead efforts to optimize travel-related expenses across all team travel operations, including but not limited to travel for coaches of travel teams, academy coaches, and student-athletes.
Establish and manage vendor relationships with travel service providers (e.g., transportation, lodging, group booking platforms) to negotiate preferred rates and streamline travel booking processes.
Work with department heads and travel coordinators to develop and enforce travel policies that align with budgetary goals while maintaining comfort and efficiency.
Monitor and analyze travel spending, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving opportunities and best practices.
Cost Management:
Track and report on procurement, identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Ensure that procurement activities support overall financial objectives and contribute to cost-effective operations.
Inventory and Asset Management Alignment
Collaborate with facilities and operations teams to align procurement with inventory management and replenishment planning.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work in partnership with department heads and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment between procurement needs and business objectives.
Regularly communicate with the General Manager regarding operational challenges, procurement activities, and progress on key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver strength and conditioning programs that support athletic development across all levels-specifically for MLS Next, Girls Academy, Pre-MLS Next, and Pre-GA (U9-U12).
Manage the Player Development Academy (PDA) in collaboration with the High Performance and NSMI Performance staff.
Develop and oversee supplemental soccer performance programs across Loudoun and Fairfax counties, including hiring and managing staff as needed.

The concierge team will work directly for the Concierge Manager and General Manager of The St. James Performance Club. Key Responsibilities:
Provide the highest level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
Professionally greet members, guests, and team members.
Direct member and customer feedback or complaints to appropriate St. James manager, and follow-up on issues derived from those comments.
Collaborate with the member experience Manager to order department supplies.
Answer phones in a pleasant and friendly manner. Take messages and provide feedback on the phone as required.
Update member accounts.
Ability to work opening shift, evening shift, and work weekends if needed.
Maintain an orderly work station area, including lobby and entrance ways.
Supporting the safety of all members, guests, and team members.
Qualifications
Great hospitality, customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly.
Strong understanding of sales and customer service techniques.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
As part of the Ice House Operations Team, your primary job is to provide the best ice experience possible for our customers. Our ice sheets are expected to be the smoothest, most well maintained, and to provide the best on-ice experience for anyone that comes through our doors. The Ice House Operations Team is responsible for providing this experience through diligent maintenance and housekeeping along with prompt and accurate ice cuts throughout the day. You are also responsible for monitoring all compressor room equipment and maintaining all other ice maintenance equipment.
Job Details (general overview):
Resurface both ice sheets with Zamboni Ice Resurfacer at scheduled times and complete cuts in the ten-minute time period.
Complete routine maintenance on both ice surfaces and all ice maintenance equipment
Operate Zamboni Ice Edger; followed by light grooming on ice sheet
Change propane tanks on Zamboni as needed
Clean and maintain the Zamboni in immaculate condition; following all scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
Perform weekly blade change service on Zamboni
Fill out compressor system log sheet at scheduled intervals.
Clean Dasher Board glass; remove puck marks
Perform light janitorial duties through all locker rooms & Ice House spaces
Must be willing to work in a cool temperature environment
Assist with miscellaneous Facility services as needed
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess current and valid Driver's License
Must be available and flexible to work various hours during the week and weekend.
Previous Ice Resurfacer and/or ice rink experience is preferred
Must be able to lift-up to 75 pounds
