Summary of Position:
The Division of Oral Health, Department of Surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a skilled Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic team.
Position Highlights
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with various oral and maxillofacial conditions, including dental extractions, trauma, tumors, and dental implants.
Work closely with dental specialists, medical professionals, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Requirements
DDS or DMD degree from a dental education program accredited by The Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).
Graduate of an approved Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) training program.
Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.
Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.

Performs monthly allocation reports for Finance
Audits and supports quarterly calculation of the retirement plan s non elective contributions
Reviews and processes monthly invoices for retirement plan providers
Coordinates and reviews annual nondiscrimination testing
Tracks annual company contributions, including projections for qualified and non-qualified retirement plans
Supports inquiries with the defined benefit plan and analyzes data for accuracy.
Reviews vendor SOC1 reporting and works with plan vendors and auditors as needed
Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure plan information on employee intranet is up to date.
Serves as the primary respondent for internal inquires through the internal portal MSP
Collaborates with internal partners (in accounting, treasury, audit, etc.) and plan providers to oversee compliance (internal and external) and identify and implement control updates and process improvements
Coordinates with various recordkeepers for distribution requests
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager s discretion

A Brief Overview
Responsible for coordinating, monitoring and maintaining the Credentialing and Reappointment processes of Centralized Credentialing Organization. What you will do
Facilitates and performs all aspects of credentialing for the CCO including appointment and reappointment of Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals in accordance with the policies and procedures and in accordance with guidelines of all Regulatory bodies including the TJC, NCQA, AAAHC and the appropriate states. Responsible for preparing files for review.
Administers and maintains comprehensive practitioner database files and other records, files and reports with particular emphasis on integrity and completeness of documentation.
Executes the Medical Staff and Allied Health privileging process in accordance with the MHMH Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, policies and procedures and in accordance with guidelines of all Regulatory bodies including the TJC and the appropriate states. Responsible for preparing files for review.
Provides oversight, administrative, and technical support to the Medical Staff credentials committee facilitation in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, policies and procedures.
Prepares confidential or routine memoranda, letters, reports, meeting minutes and other correspondence for the Department.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to function with minimal supervision and to relate and communicate effectively with high level Associates within the hospital and in the community with medical staff and their office staffs.
Ability to be tactful and exercise diplomacy and good judgment.
