The Clinical Triage Specialist (CTS) (RN) - Access Center will compassionately deliver an exceptional patient experience and provide clinical support to CTS-MA team members by serving as a clinical resource. The CTS-RN is responsible for using nursing judgment in answering/returning patient calls related to direct care provided by the practices. When appropriate, the caller's symptoms will be assessed and triaged using approved nursing protocols and guidelines to assist in obtaining the appropriate level of care and/or self-care advice.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answers telephones, prioritizes clinical triage calls, follows clinical protocols, and coordinates services, as needed.
Verifies patient demographic information and accurately enters the updated information into electronic health record.
Serves as an escalation point for clinical patient issues and other POD team members requiring clinical support, and provides clinical advice based on clinical protocols and procedures.
Manages and responds to escalated electronic patient messages whenever not answering inbound patient calls and uses clinical judgment to prioritize and accommodate patients.
Creates a positive patient experience at every encounter, attempting to independently resolve any issues or concerns of the patient at the time of the phone call, within the scope of the role.
Consistently meets productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards as set by the Access Center.
Utilizes all resources and guidelines at his/her disposal to effectively assess, prioritize, advise, schedule appointments, or refer calls when necessary to the appropriate medical facility or personnel.
Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response.
Partners with other Access Center teams/PODs and respective practice clinical team on behalf of the patient to assist with clinical concerns, medication refills, or scheduling appointments.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey or other nursing compact state and other states as deemed necessary by state law.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in a physician office, home health, critical care and/or emergency room is required.

Duties may include:
• Under the Agency's policies and professional requirements, serves as the clinical supervisor of an interdisciplinary clinical team working with individuals diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness, or General Mental Health diagnosis under Court Ordered Treatment.
• Provides clinical and administrative supervision, clinical oversight, training and mentoring for case managers, peer mentors, peer health and wellness coaches, family mentors, and rehabilitation specialists on assigned team.
• Ensures clinical quality and productivity standards are met or exceeded by direct reports.
• Ensures that assessments and individual service plans are developed and implemented (according to regulatory guidelines) for each member on their team.
• Works under the direct supervision of the Health Center Director.

Must have a GED/High school diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year of managerial experience and 3+ years of behavioral health experience required
Interpersonal skills which allow for professional and positive relationships with co-workers, members, families, and other community members. Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening and positive interactions. Strong understanding of substance use, addiction and recovery clinical skills.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Experience in PowerPoint and electronic medical record - NextGen preferred.
Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy
Must have a valid Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or the ability to apply for one apply for one within 7 working days of assuming role.
Schedule flexibility is required as this team provides services throughout weekday hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight and Staffing Support
Provide staffing coverage to various service lines, including TCP, Crisis, Public Safety, and occasionally SMI programs.
Offer clinical oversight during audits, investigations, and when responding to staff questions related to clinical issues.
Serve as a licensed clinical resource for interdisciplinary teams as needed.
Quality Improvement and Compliance
Conduct internal chart reviews and audits across multiple departments.
Review clinical documentation for adherence to medical necessity and level of care criteria.
Develop and implement documentation improvement plans following external audits.
Maintain and manage the log of all CPR complaints and Incident, Accident, and Death (IAD) reports.
Complete Quality of Care (QOC) concern medical requests and reviews.
Assist in reviewing, investigating, and documenting internal and external complaints.
Participate in all external audits and support the development and implementation of Performance Improvement Plans.
Ensure HIPAA compliance across the agency and perform annual HIPAA Risk Assessments.
Training and Education
Assist in onboarding new CPR staff related to Quality and Utilization Management processes.
Facilitate QPR suicide prevention training approximately once per quarter (or as needed) for clinicians and client-facing staff.
Support ongoing agency-wide clinical training initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Quality & Informatics.

Job Description:
As an Oncology Clinical Research Assistant (CRA), you will be assisting team members at Astera Cancer Care on recruiting participants, collecting and managing the study data for the successful management of clinical trials. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to ensure that clinical research activities are performed in accordance with local and federal regulations and adhere to policies and procedures of Astera and the sponsors and CROs
Assisting CRC on the coordination of tests and visits for patients and maximizing work efficiency and productivity.
Assisting Regulatory Specialist (RS) on IRB submissions and interact to maintain regulatory documents and administrative files for each protocol.
Assisting CRC on confirming patient's eligibility into clinical trials.
Assisting Clinical Data Coordinator (CDC) and RS on maintaining patient and regulatory research records.
Confer with all members of the clinical team to confirm appropriateness and timeliness of tests.
Collect follow-up data on patient's post-treatment as required by the protocol.
Assisting CDC on entering research data into a centralized database as per protocol requirements.
Prepare other study materials as requested by the Principal Investigator such as informed consent documents, case report forms, enrollment logs and drug/device accountability logs.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience with Microsoft applications.
Able to travel between offices within the offices in Northeast Jersey area.
