Our practice specializes in adult cardiac surgery, Aortic surgery, Minimally Invasive Valve Surgery, Robotic Thoracic surgery, and Hybrid Maze procedure for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation. Our practice also implants and manages ECMO and the Impella 5.5. The program participates in the STS Registry and aggressively benchmarks performance as part of an ever-vigilant quality and outcomes improvement program. Included among our accomplishments are a high early extubation rate, a low transfusion and other complication rates, and many regional and national cardiac surgery awards. Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy. Provide good communication with the physician and other members of the team Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment. Administer psychiatric rating scales. Record session notes, track insurance authorizations, and schedule patient visits using EMR and medical scheduling software. QUALIFICATIONS TMS experience required Great people skills BLS certification At least one year of experience working in a medical office is preferred, but not required. Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression preferred. Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental health setting required. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team. An Associates or Bachelors Degree strongly preferred, but candidates with patient care experience will be strongly considered.
