A Patient Care Technician is someone who works in collaboration with a Registered Nurse to provide quality, hands-on patient care based on the individualized needs of the patients and their families. How to Become a PCT at Saint Peter's Healthcare System Saint Peter's Healthcare System offers an 80-hour training program for individuals interested in becoming a PCT but do not have the required certifications or experience. Saint Peter's will pay you to complete the training program. This program is provided every other month at our main hospital in New Brunswick. About the PCT Training Program Saint Peter's paid 80-hour Patient Care Technician Program consists of both in-classroom and hands-on training.
