General Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Sustainability Lead in the implementation of the Sustainability Plan and leveraging the value it creates through an effective communication strategy.
Essential Job Accountabilities
* Conduct research, perform analyses, and deliver reports on findings on sustainability-related topics as assigned to ensure a well-rounded sustainability strategy. * Monitor renewable resources, sustainable work processes, and environmental science trends to ensure proper sustainability benchmarks are established to support management's strategies in maintaining the Company's industry leadership role.
* Provide administration to the Sustainability Council to support as a Center of Excellence by facilitating knowledge sharing and development of best practices.
* Assist with project proposals and expediting owner acceptance and implementation of sustainability initiatives that differentiate the company from its competition.

* Perform accurate project revenue and cost financial forecasting to ensure corporate profitability goals are met.

Education
* BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience in heavy civil construction.
Work Experience
* Minimum of fifteen (15) year's progressive project experience in heavy civil environments.
* Minimum of five (5) years experience in paving, dirt, and grading in either private or public environments.
* Experience as a Large Projects Superintendent preferred.
* Experience in Design-build projects preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
