The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests Prepare and issue payments to vendors in a timely manner Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies Assist with bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll processing Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and AP matters Support month-end closing activities related to AP and payroll File and maintain financial documents in accordance with company policies Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or payroll Payroll experience preferred Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Information: On-site attendance is required; remote work is not available for this role Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan.
